  • Tori said she hates that house and everything it represents.

  • What did she say. "I think I'm a whoreder?

  • Poor Poor Candy. Maybe if she didn't love Stuff so much she would have time for her grandchildren. I don't understand why someone would build such a big house. It's vulger!!!!!! Maybe Tori and her grandchildren are lost in that big house.

  • Mansion or trailer? - it's irrelevant! Our human needs transcend our mere environment.

This woman will acquire insight and wisdom in her remaining years.

Her humanity is revealed by her suffering. She is like ALL of us.

I don't envy her wealth. I feel empathy, compassion and respect for her.

  • House is beyond GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!! =)

  • Tosi is untalented spoiled brat!!!! everybody knows that

  • Materialistic/narsistic persons find that out when they're old, grey, wrinkeled and alone... And she doesn't even understands how to earn love and trust and probably never will!

  • This ugly old woman will die miserable and completely alone.

  • You can come adaptop me I would make that huge house usefull.

  • this is very dynasty

  • she is not a hoarder, she has a hobby. Also, tori spelling is an idiot.

  • @dannonstewart9 Tori comes across as a really down to earth and nice person on her tv show. It would be too hard to keep up an act for such a long time so I am sure what we see on her show is what she is really like.

  • i see this house everyday and its not as big as u guys think!

  • I don't believe her, she's probably a very toxic person, a few members of my family are like that,it usualy from outside looks very innocent and is hard for other people to understand.

  • They always blame the Mom...well Tori...we cannot wait until Stella writes her book about you. What goes around comes around.

  • she's so sweet hope everything works out for them

  • when enough isn't enough!! poor rich woman totally clueless in trying to fullfill her emptyness...shallow as a clam.

  • The problem is you gave gift to Tori, and not love! COLD LADY!

  • Nothing exceeds like excess!

  • @martydrooo - did you coin that? I doubt it.

    But very apropos!

    Cool

  • @duckbiter Lol...its like "hey you said a cool thing.............but its not so cool though". I get what you mean just like its sort of like giving a compliment then taking it back...I know thats not what you did but thats how it reads....I think i got the quote from the movie scarface with al pacino but I'm sure its an old aphorism....

  • @martydrooo

WRONG. It's exactly what I meant. You got a mixed message, and I've no regrets about that. You can fuck off if you want unearned compliments from me.

I know I could of searched it, but that's too easy and spoils the fun.

When you say "old", how old d'ya mean? Be specific plz.

  • @duckbiter LOL I got exactly what you meant ... you were sort of thinking out loud...

anyway I think its a twist on "Nothing succeeds like success", with the twist being made probably during the early 1900s in England...

Its in line with aphorisms like, "Anything worth doing is worth overdoing"

  • Too bad Aaron did not live long enough to enjoy this mansion. But was it really necessasry to build such a big place?

  • @MANILABOY6631 aaron lived in the mansion about 14 years he lived there long enough to enjoy it. years before he died he said how much he loved the mansion. It was Candy's idea to make the mansion so big. Aaron did not want it that big but she kept saying saying to make the rooms bigger when the blueprints were being made.

  • candy needs to read a book called Mean Mothers, by Peg Streep.

  • This shows that a BIG house has a VERY lonely women in it! Confirms again that being rich is on the inside and not on the outside!

  • @MirkodiWallenberg i dont think she is that lonely she has a lot of friends im sure and she and her daughter have since reconciled and she sees her daughter and grandchildren now

  • @MirkodiWallenberg She may be rich and lonely but being poor and lonely isnt any better.

  • Maybe they should both decide on a family therapist, show up at that office and simply hash it out there with a third party present who is impartial, forget the books and shows etc. and just get on with life - time is flying by ladies!

  • Wow shes a crazy old woman!!! Please she neads to stop slaming Tori and saying she feels wonderful! Tori is an amazing woman and mother and I feel so bad for her that she has to deal with a crazy person like Candy everyday of her life!

  • She is going to die a lonely old woman with nothing but silly possessions.

  • Such a nice house. Why's she moving out of it?

  • yeah, i agre wih you, but after seeing tori's show, her side makes a little more sence, ya know

  • Its very weird how she 'doesn't know where Tori lives'.

  • If she doesn't know where tori lives, why doesn't she find out!! In tori's first book, she said her mother was VERY rude at her wedding and even changed her wedding day! What kind of mother does that!!

  • She sounds like a smoker...Yuck!

  • if you REALLY WANT TO AND RICH.... how hard is it to get in touch with one of your two children??

  • Such excess is nauseating! Rich people are so out of touch with reality.

  • I agree Sue Snell, the Spellings are pigs. She almost gloats that that is not the only gift wrapping room.

How do you justify keeping what you have in superabundance when others are starving.

  • @Azurju

Her upbringing allowed her to ignore others suffering and focus only on her own selfish needs. This is regretfully implicit in THE AMERICAN DREAM which still holds currency today in America.

The emptiness of this philosophy has been understood for thousands of years. And by older wiser cultures than that of the USA.

From Greek Democracy to Buddhist Compassion.

We see now the death throes of american selfish individualism in the desperate attempts of bush and obama to maintain it.

  • @duckbiter American culture is no more selfish than any other culture. The US people give as much as or more than any other people and the Govt gives more than any govt. Is it perfect? far from it, but you cant say the US doesnt try. I also love how its mostly europeans are so insecure about themselves and so they need to point out "older cultures" than the US. The US culture is as old as the people who settled it (from Europe, asia, etc), and people here do read you know...

  • @martydrooo - most of the old Eastern Bloc countries are controlled by gangster politicians, again with a top few % of billionaires and an impoverished majority.

It's ironic that the USA and former Eastern Bloc should now have similar power structures, having arrived there from such different directions.

  • @duckbiter Also its only in American that regular people were able to build things like that mansion (I personally don't like it, but still). Everywhere else in Europe and Asia, only hereditary royals could build palaces like that...

  • @martydrooo - the richest 1 to 5 % of the USA and UK have increased their wealth massively at the expense of a vast underclass of people in poverty or in jail.

As Eisenhower warned, the military / industrial / media elite rules the USA whichever party is in power. Spending trillions of $ on arms to maintain its need for oil, other commodities and cheap foreign labor.

It's murderous methods are now being directed towards its OWN citizens who oppose it, in addition to the endless wars abroad.

  • How many gift-wrapping rooms? That is absolutely disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a portrait of excess...a woman with nothing better to do than spend, spend, spend.

  • The Spellings were PIGS. Come on! How about the kids starving in the streets of LA? Gross out.

  • Oh dear I see Tori in her mum, and she wont like that! I hope they sort it out. Hmm 2 sides to every stori and Im with Tori 100%

  • Loved this! What a trip. Thanks for posting. Reminds me of the profile Dominick Dunne wrote about her back in the 80s for Vanity Fair. I think it was called, "Candy's Dynasty".
