  • @snowboardman96 with plastidip the only prep needed is a cleaning with soapy water. Then you spray it right after that. No sanding or primer required. And plastidip lasts a very long time. Research before u post a dumbass insulting comment idiot

  • @snowboardman96 damn dude you talk like a fucking chink that just learned English. What the fuck are you saying bitch?

  • OK so everyone knows the way this tool did this is completely short term if you want a paint job to stick you have to not could if you wanted to you have to sand down any existing coating that is on the item you are painting (valetdabess) this is why you are getting chiping. please erochmedia for the love of REAL painters everywhere consult a proffesional painter before you post a video like this for some tips on how to paint cause your technique in the video was terrible. Also script your stuff

  • this man oughta be slapped.

  • @bucknut5151 hmmm

  • how well did it hold up?

  • great video, i'll be attempting this on my lancer this week

  • Wait 30 min between each coat wait 3 - 4 hours before use. Just thought I'd clear that up. Nice tutorial.

  • looks fucking sick. nice end result.

  • are you suppose to do any treatment or just wash the area that you would plasti dip?

  • where could I buy the plasti dip bottles?

  • does the paint chip? like if a rock hit it or something? i painted my badge and i have a few small chips in the paint

  • for me was better changing my stock gts grill for the stock es lancer that is black mate....and you can go to pepboys and buy red tint for tail lihgts and tint your mistsubichi emblem....most people in puerto rico do that is more easy for us...and sorry fopr my english ; D

  • does SUN HEAT effects the paint ? nice car nice job thanks for the tutorial :)

  • @IslandGroovin YEAHH BUDDAY

  • Wow.... learn how to paint

  • well done, i'm gonna plasti dip my stock rims, you did a good job, i like it

  • 20,000... *sighs*

  • How many cans do you think I'll need to black out the chrome grill and black out the middle of the bumper like the evo and ralliart? Also, how do you remove this stuff?

  • If you broke the clips that held the chrome piece, how did you put back the whole grill on? Was anything loose?

  • aww its JOHN CENA <3

  • this video changed my LIFE!!!

  • @gibby1717 Me too

  • in the next vid, can i plasti-dip... your mother!?

  • do you think i can paint the whole car with plastidip? It would be like the BMW in the movie 'Taxi' where the 4 girls peel off the paint on the BMW

  • Do u think i can do u can also do it without removing the grill, just taping it all god ad then spraying it?

  • Did this to my 2010 lancer gts. Looks great. Dent take anything off though. Just tapped it up. Had a little splatter but it came off

  • Looks good, I like the result. Thinking of doing this to my Accord. Not sure I'll go through all the headache of removing the grille, though.

  • did you plastidip layer chip or scratch? and is it durable? thats what i want to know,, x)

im planning to do the same thing,, looks good.

  • WARNING!!!!.....this is a great product but PLEASE if you are planning on doing this to your emblem on the back of your car take it off the car and do it do not try to tape it up and do it you will just have to redo it over and over again...debadge your car hang it from a string and spray it from that..you will get a much better look and it will take half the time

  • Where can you get that plasti-dip.

  • Home hardware can special order the spray cans in any colour u want 15$ each

  • If i break the plastic piece the guy is saying, i cant put it back again ?

  • you are ugli mann

  • tough time w/that grill, huh?

  • eww....... the airbox........

  • just followed your instruction and finished it in an afternoon. 09 lancer here and there's an extra screw behind the badge, other than that everything's the same. Bought my plasti dip from Home Hardware, $16 per. If they dont have it in stock just ask them to order one for you (thats what i did). Thanks for the tutorial.

  • does it hold up to weather, bugs and rocks pretty good?

  • @SCN72117 Yeah it does actually, weather perfectly, never heard of bugs being a problem, and people that have had this for a longer period of time haven't had any problems with chipping whatsoever
