  • lets see how this tastes :)

  • I always burn myself...

  • what race are you if you don't mind me asking

  • My mom's home made egg rolls! Hands down they are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I've had Marie Callender's pot pies, as well as the three-meat lasagna and dutch apple pie. Everything that I've tried from them is soo yummy. Marie Callender's is one of the very few frozen food brands that I think is comparable to a home-cooked meal.

  • that's interesting.almost makes you think cooking your own food is a waste heh.my answer to your question...potato soup,it's just so yummy and rich :)

  • Judging by the label, Marie Callender’s (16.5 oz) Chicken Pot Pie has "only" 520 calories, 11 grams of saturated fat, and 800 mg of sodium. But look again. Those numbers are for only half a pie. Eat the entire pie, as most people probably do, and you’re talking 1,040 calories, 22 grams of saturated fat (more than a day’s worth), and 1,600 mg of sodium (an entire day’s worth).

  • @Thedude90000 oh dear god i eat two at once

  • @Thedude90000 That's why when I eat one, it's usually the only thing I'll eat for the entire day. xD

  • Love Marie's Chix Portobello Mushroom pot pie! The crust on those things are sooooo good!

  • Marie Callenders chicken pot pies are excellent. I was surprised by how good it was given its frozen.

Sadly the local Marie Callenders restaurant neat me closed recently.

  • wow...truly...almost everything on the internet...I had no idea I would one day seek an answer to my question from the FF master! Question - do MC Pot pies come wrapped in plastic inside? Or is it just the pie and cardboard?

I bought a cheap Banquet pie and it came w/o plastic - and thus the pie was ruined due to a defrosting freezer and the melting ice making the box (and pie) soggy. thxs

  • on sale at costco starting 9/15!

  • The new ones with mushroom and broccoli are even better.

  • ingredients: Chicken, Chicken, Chicken, Chicken meat

  • Oh man I don't even wanna look at those marie pies. I use to buy em in bulk because he tasted so good and microwaved real well.. I basicly gained 20 pounds eating ALOT of them. Please consume these pies in moderation.... soooooo GOOODDDDDD

  • Rock on dude - check out my chicken pot pie recipe (when you have a chance) ....

  • Marie Calenders is really good. I don't dig chicken much but her pot pie is a rare treat. Her pies kick serious ass too. The deep dish Dutch apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert makes her meals that much more better. I am getting hungry...

  • Marie Callenders is really good, but the chicken can taste a little weird if even slightly overcooked.

  • cookies for the win

  • I love my baked chicken that I make homemade. Its just so juicy.

  • 300th video!

  • i find that the crust of Marie Callender's pot pie produces a weird taste. The filling is decent though.

  • Blueberry Pie

  • Hmm.... I think I like my sourdough Rye Bread best of the food I make.

  • "Carrots corn and peas" "carrots CORN and peas"

    I dont even..

  • ya know I want some of that pot pie and I'm dealing with some slight food poisoning :(

  • I got a custom made FREEZER BURNS FLAG!!

    Greg Hope You Read This

  • 9 minutes? nice :p

Also, I used to eat these pot pies. They are as good as the ones in restaraunts.

Answer: Favorite, probably my scrambled eggs, or hot dogs.

  • Whats better the Marie Callender pot pie or the Twin Hens pot pie?

  • @NintendoBmaN Good memory! Twin Hens is way better. But it's also over $20. Blake's makes an excellent pot pie as well but its hard to find.

  • no matter what, that homemade one is probably healthier and a lot better for people in general. Who knows what chemicals they put in that

  • I make babies!

  • I love this video! That homemade pot pie looked delicious, and the Marie Callender one was a very formidable opponent. You were very fair in your analysis and I love when you do comparison reviews. As for what is my favorite thing to make that's homemade, THAT's an unfair question lol. I guess if I had to choose I like my egg, cheese, bacon sandwiches on sprouted grain bread. Keep up the awesome work!

  • @MamaMegums ( your comment was 7 months old but the marie callender pie is 1040 calories 520 for half

  • I like making tomato sauce at home. I grow the herbs and tomatoes so its rewarding.

  • spicy adobo and pho noodles

  • Cereal....

  • I've tried the MC pot pies and could never eat more than a few bites; they're just way too salty for me. I like more spices and veggies, less salt.

  • If you look at the calories per serving size is 545, which is reasonable, but look closer, the serving size is half of a pie, so that's more than half your daily calories.

  • is your tag coprighted? :o sure sounds like did do her research

  • "Hardcore white chicken" lol

  • Marie's pot pies are just plain awesome! :D

  • Marie's doesn't have potatoes. That's my only complaint about Maries. but they are pretty good, and yes loaded with sodium

  • home made pot pies are one of my favorites . my all time favorite is baked pork steaks, recipe came from my grandmother

  • I LOVE MARIE CALLENDARS XCORE * vvv *

  • i just had a marie callender chicken pot pie 3 days ago, i thought it was good, better tasting chicken, then say, banquet brand, but like most frozen pot pies, theres never enough sauce in them

  • I bet the frozen one is loaded with sodium and other things.

  • I make a fairly decent lasagna, but maybe my favorite thing to make is pumpkin pancakes with little pieces of bacon in them.

  • You could improve the Carrots quality in your own pot pie by simmering them a short time in the broth mixture before adding in the rest of the ingredients.

  • It is an unfair statement. I don't think you can compare frozen foods to home made unless you're a really bad cook.

My favorite homemade things I make tend to be New York style cheesecake, apple pie, pumpkin pie (with real pumpkin and no sugar added), hashbrowns and BLT.

  • It tastes bad if you cook it even 30 seconds less.

  • the intro is fucking terrible makes me wanna puke... please make it stop... it ruins my day especially the guy who sings it... and no im not a troll im just expressing my opinion about the channel and the intro is just garbage... i hope to never hear something like that every again, my ears are bleeding now, the lyrics are horrible... im sure i will get a lot of hate messages back but i dont care i wont even read them,,,, i will say what i want to say when i want and i just the way our society

  • In my opinion I don't believe that anything frozen can bean something homemade, but thats because my grandma would kick my ass for saying I like frozen food better than her homemade food, but thats a different story.

  • Favorite home made meal? Of course, my big ass poutine with regional chedar cheese (Google : Fromage St-Laurent). God, I love it; so much, I do it once a week! (5-6$ for the cheese, 2$ the frozen fries, 1.50$ for the gravy)

Miam miam.

  • i looove those marie callendars pot pies!

  • Greg add more tags, you'll get more views.More views = more money xD

  • But how is it microwaved?

  • i was eating a turkey banquet pot pie while watching this!

  • Pepperidge Farm makes the absolute BEST frozen pot pie... and i really would say that it is worlds better than homemade! Definitely better than Marie Callender's... Favorite thing to make at home (in the comfort food category): Cottage Pie

  • Okay.. 2 bucks or so? I get my chicken and turkey pot pies for about 50 cents to 1 dollar.. and its exactly the same size as that one and probably tastes the same... so yeah.

  • @iamfuturetrunks If you are talking about the Banquet or Swanson pot pies that are under a dollar I'm telling you this is better. Way better.

  • Stouffers make a great chicken pot pie

  • the ONLY thing i can make is eggs. u want em fried or scrambled?

  • saying "more better" - you win 5 points lol

  • @Necrodius Ah! More grammar nazis! But you didn't use caps or a period. xD

  • @iUnitedpk what ya talkin bout man i do be havin some good grammers

  • @Necrodius :)

  • Pepperidge Farm used to make THE best chicken pot pie but I can't find it anymore. The crust was so flaky.

  • You should just make a video on how you made that pie..

  • Homemade is better because you know what's in the pot pie.

  • gmo veggies in the marie pie o.0

  • Needs more bacon strips.

  • i make a few good home made meals actually. beef stew over white rice, chicken or spam fried rice, waffles (from scratch). my favorite would have to be the beef stew since i can eat the leftovers for a couple days :)

  • You should've get your kids to taste and compare it :-)

  • I find this hard to masturbate to..

  • @ilovemoranda i find ur comment "hard" to masturbate 2

  • I've been stocking up on these things since college. They are my hands-down favorite freezer-food. I also wouldn't call them "better than homemade" because my girlfriend bakes an incredible pot pie, but Marie Calendar's frozen pot pies are excellent for what they are.

As for what I can cook, my favorite is a mustard-crusted, frenched rack of lamb. I made it for my gf's birthday/valentine's dinner and it came out FANTASTIC.

  • Steak and microwave mashed potato

  • what did you use to make that crust

  • @onepiecefan500 flour, butter, salt, milk.

  • @Freezerburnsdotcom They make crust of anything else?

Fat, Flour, water. That's all there is too it!

  • Probably a little more time consuming, but it'd be cool if you did more of these frozen vs "real" food comparisons .

  • I love to watch these occasionally for their comic value. Isn't your wife embarrassed that you both eat fast food for what seems like every meal?

  • @briggybear I review the food but I don't eat them as my meal. I only eat what you see me consume on camera.

  • @Freezerburnsdotcom Oh? What do you do with what's left over?

  • @Freezerburnsdotcom I would eat everything above the rating 4, lol

  • Whoops answered me question: "hand rolled"

  • My fav thing I make is a honey bun cake! Thanks for the review. I want to try the marie callenders pot pie and I've never even had chicken pot pir before

  • Did you use store bought crust for your homemade or from scratch?

  • @Movickrox yeah, made that crust from scratch

  • i like trains

  • good video

  • Tits.

  • @ManicTheManic or gtfo
