ive decided to try and get into one piece again, but this time im goin to jus read the manga, the anime is too long to catch up on, maybe wen ive caught up with the manga i can jus watch the anime from where it is at tht point, im enjoyin the manga so far

I didn't get Caribou;this was the guy that planned on fighting Luffy in the first place with just his brother for help, he was a logia type, and he directly defied fake Luffy. You don't get a 100,000,000+ bounty when you're weak thats why yhe rookies were talked about the way they were when the Straw Hats first came to Sabody. Then all of the sudden with no warning Caribou becomes a coward, he gave up without a thought of fighting back.

His nature is rebellious but he saw that he couldn't beat the crew alone. He had better chance if he claimed he wasn't awesome much like Buggy's experience in Impel Down was a result of poor information and Crimson Hell being his power's bitch.

Bounties aren't proportional to strength, badassery or willingness to run into a fight with Whitebeard/ Akainu/ the main characters. Controversy can cause high bounties, criminal damage or not (8 year old Robin).

@thelastgogeta Maybe I'm forgetting something but I don't remember anything in his expression or thought-voiceovers that implied that he calmly made the decision to bide his time. They may not issue bounties on strenghth alone but they don't hand over high ones for free, I also doubt he got one for his knowledge of something.

I get the implication that he chose to plan and bide his time from how he acts later in the manga (which includes some stealth and thievery) along with letting himself be tied up with ropes despite his devil fruit power. He stumbles into situations and improvises like Nami (she joined Enel) or Buggy.

He isn't Crocodile chill but he was planning (like avoiding the Kraken instead of running into it). His bounty is likely to be like Kid's, from Collateral Damage And Death.

I like when Usopp and Chopper get scared because they make the funniest face ever, it's so hilarious. But also their reactions to Sanji's less nosebleed and Robin drawing while they're in danger. Haha these guys are great!

the only reason i would think one piece is better than naruto is: the awsomeness of the strawhat crew, and the great comedy LOL. luffy-"the only problem is that we are in the sea" usopp - "*whispering and shivering* no luffy, the problem is its size, even if we wer on land it will still be a big problem." love usop. and i loved how franky used his rocket launcher and everyone had an orgasm from the flashiness. franky is the most worshipped at this point

I laughed so hard in this episode:D It was great! I think Naruto is the best manga, but One Piece has got to be the best anime, great representation of the characters, great voiceovers and you enjoy every single episode, the emotional ones, the epic and the funny ones...

One of my favorite quotes in this episode from Zoro: "They look like a school of jellyfish." lol. I just love that part where there was a few second silence and then Zoro just comedically ruins it. XD

Great review! My favorite comedic portion was when Caribou's ship got crushed by the Kraken and all of his henchmen started floating up to the surface and their is like a 2 second pause and Zoro says "They look like a school of Jellyfish" xD

For some reason this episode really gave me the feeling that Caribou will be the next SH.

His crew and brother are dead, he's strong and a Logia plus he'd have this great dynamic of trying to screw the rest of the crew over (which they always know about and foil) Just the way he switched from being uber creepy to scaredy cat funny makes it seem like he'd add something different. Plus we don't no his back story so it could be sad.

@maxsteele77 I also have a feeling Caribou might join the crew. A good chance it is either him or Jinbe, but I think it will most likely be Caribou. Remember how Nico Robin joined the crew instead of Vivi? Most people expected Vivi to join, but then she had to stay in Alabasta, and I think a good majority of people were shocked when Nico Robin(at the time a villain) joined the crew. I would like to see Caribou on the straw hats for sure.

@iamverynicesir I can guarantee Caribou isn't next member of the Straw Hats. It's against Luffy's principles etc :) Everybody are saying that Jinbei will be the next but imo he is too much powerful to join but he is best candidate for this post (in manga there wasn't anyone else who could be better)
