Telling people a pvc cannon is safe up to 180psi is a no brainer.

1. There are different kinds of pvc tubing.

2. I wouldn't recommend that at low temperatures.

3. As bigger a cannon the more force is distributed to the surface of the pvc (at the same wall thickness).

4. Playing with high pressure is anything else than safe.

the problem with you accuracy is the shape of your projectile. the weight of the nail combined with it's tendency to walk in the barrel will make longer range accuracy impossible. you need to stabilize the nose of the projectile.

@deptartment94 Finally somebody with constructive criticism. I agree with you on this point and have figuired out a way to solve that problem a long time ago. Overall this gun had its problems, like bad ergonomics (no stock), no balance (front heavy), no propper sights and the ammo problem. When I build it, it seems the least thing I had in mind was accuracy ;) .

relax dude, you dont need a laser. look up Simo Häyhä. he should be a sniper but he prefers no scope, just normal sights. he killed 500 in 100 days during his war. but if you think the guns wobbling, sit and fire or put a bipod. what i know theres some clip on ones sold. not much modifications needed

a little comment i want to make. although you probably have already thought of this...

1st --> tape the laser parallel to the silencer. note the distance between the laser sight and the barrel, and adjust your aim accordingly (if laser is mounted at right side, aim at the right of the bottle, not the middle.)

2nd --> make a bi-pod stand. it's amazing how a simple bipod can make aiming much easier

Well silencers make it so that gasses come out of the gun slower and cools them down so they dont make very much noise and doesn't apear on radar. a "silencer" on a air pressurized gun makes no sense at all.

@MrPypap from personal experience you should take a deep breath and blow it out till you have half of your lungs filled with air and at that moment you wait like 5 sec and shoot...(i know that because i go to a shooting class and the teacher was the world champion)but all that doesnt have to do with the fact he didnt hit the target...or the gun is inaccurat or the wind was moving the dart while its in the air...
