when i was younger i entered my old horse in a barrel race, and right at the second barrel they had a huge umbrella table next to it on the other side of the fence. she wouldn't go around and it and she trotted out of the arena with me on her back crying. lol
well i think you did very well considering that was your first ride on him. bravo. A grade.....hmmmnn i guess they didnt desensitize him enough. lol good job though!
Thank you very much. Even the owners were shocked he was like this as he had been jumping all his life, but then again i didnt see one horse that didnt make a fuss over the slide. Mabey it was the sound of the machine filling the slide with air to.. thats always a funny sound??
Pretty poor planning, putting a huge slide and all of that stuff right next to where horses are jumping. How can they really expect anyone to jump with that kind of distraction?
I know several horses at my stable, when they see and are directed to a jump they start prancing and fidgeting all over the place, they are the best jumpers we have!
Most of the horses at my stable would flip if they saw that! It wasnt the best move for them to put the slide right there.... someone could have gotten hurt....

That was a bit mean of them to put a massive slide so close to the ring, especially as it would be in their eye range for a lot of the time
