There will be no Buzz settlement until it is presented to the court on January 31, 2001 along with opposition to the settlement. I've opposed the settlement. I've stated in a letter that the settlement is a bribe to privacy groups and the lead plaintiffs, Perhaps I'm the only person who opposed the settlement. It will give me the right to appeal the settlement if it is accepred by the court. The settlement bribed the lead plaintiffs and privacy groups.
@uilium everyone with a Gmail account at the time Google Buzz was released is "included" in the settlement, however, the settlement is basically an 8.5 million dollar fund to pay off attorneys and donate money to raise privacy awareness. you'll get nothing from this lawsuit. look at your options by clicking on the links in the email.

@AxAznGuyTony26 no, basically people are suing Google on our behalf b/c Buzz may have compromised your privacy. If you haven't ever used Buzz, then your privacy was never in jeopardy. Google has proposed a settlement where they put up 8.5 million dollars to fund privacy education. There's nothing you have to do...unless you have a case against Google and want to sue them yourself.
