I did the same when Snape died. It looks like JK Rowling was very cruel when she killed off adored characters, but we have to remember that many of them died so Harry can defeat Voldemort. Also, it would be impossible that no one on the light side died & only the bad guys died in the war. People on both sides have to die in the war. It would be great if lesser popular characters died, but Harry has to have this grievance & anger in his part to make him determined enough to win the war.
