I have raced against Beaux's father and knew him since he was a young teen ager. He has been at the track and or on the track his whole life. I believe that Indycar has made a great decision this time.

@PhilipTheBigOne I see, well Barnhart has never driven a race car in his life, he was a tire changer and a dip stick checker. Barfield raced in F2000 and up to a couple Indy Lights races so he understands racecraft. He'll be better than Barnhart for sure.

One thing I will say is, if you don't hear his name next year during a race, that is probably a good thing.
