I doubt it, it'd be more complicated to get an en bloc clip in there with a scope in the way. I'm pretty sure the Americans used the Springfield 1903 as the rounds can be loaded individually.

its SO NICE... after wanting one for 3 years, I wasnt dissapointed to get this one...
best rifle ever made, and a major reason we arent speaking german or japanese.
