According to Islam, animals are not supposed to be hunted for fun or entertainment but for essential needs. When you want to kill an animal, it has to be done with a razor sharp blade to severe the main vein in the neck. The flow of blood to the brain is stopped and the animal loses consciousness, instantly. Also, when you kill an animal, the other animals are not supposed to see it.

I don't know of any rational ethical system that uses vegetarianism as an ethical principle. It can be shown that it is wrong to kill other human beings (under certain contexts). But to expand this to animals is nonsensical. Humans can work together to mutual advantage, and respecting each other's rights. An animal cannot respect human rights.

Great to see compassion for animals with videos like this being made to prevent suffering. It's one thing to Use animals in such ways under survival conditions in the arctic or other areas where it might save one from freezing or such. I don't know of any rational ethical system that uses vegetarianism as an ethical principle. It can be shown that it is wrong to kill other human beings (under certain contexts). But to expand this to animals is nonsensical. Humans can work together to mutual advantage, and respecting each other's rights. An animal cannot respect human rights.

Great to see compassion for animals with videos like this being made to prevent suffering. It's one thing to Use animals in such ways under survival conditions in the arctic or other areas where it might save one from freezing or such. With our technology animals can be spared such atrocities. May compassion continue to rise among humans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
