@toobiesz Actually, many people listen to their music without falling asleep because the music is too beautiful to miss. Some people actually only get calm from listening to their music, and falling asleep to their music I find a bit disrespectful. But maybe the music is too boring to some?

Jonsi asked Hammock to perform live (for the first time ever) at their Riceboy Sleeps exhibition back in 2007, he's a big fan of them. Not saying Hammock were definitely an influence on this song, but to me it sounds a bit like what Hammock would do if they covered Fljótavík during their Maybe They Will Sing... era!

Definitely one of my favorite songs on the album, and also one of my favorites from Sigur Rós. It's just so saturated in grace and despair for me, which works very well. Thanks for the post!
