  • Sir, you are a legend.

  • i don't know what Bushy162 is talking about. His voice makes the video more interesting!

  • We need to donate to this man, at least for his time and effort. Considering this tuition service is provided totally free, I believe it is little to ask to support the developer! If every view was a pound/dollar/unit currency - this man would surely be kindly rewarded for his services to young mathematicians. Appeal: Any influential maths students in sixth-form/college, try and set up a fund where every maths student who uses this site donates a penny to this man! Every little helps.

  • thanks a lot for the vids!!

  • great video..Thanx a Lot

  • I'VE GOT OVER YOUR VOICE. It doesn't annoy me any more :) That's great news isn't it. You said you hope I never watch you're videos, but aren't you glad I returned. It brings a sort of closure to our discussion.

  • @Bushy162 Welcome back once more then. Let's hope you find the videos useful and get something positive out of them then.

  • @Bushy162

    your*

maybe ExamSolutions should do a grammar video for you ;)

  • @Bahfreakee Haha - Yes!

  • hey thx ~~continue your good effort man~

  • I can't help be REALLY OFFENDED by his voice. :([ I'm insulted.

  • @Bushy162 Then hopefully you will not look at anymore of my videos then!

  • @ExamSolutions Yeah but seriously, why do you talk like that. You don't need to - it's not like you're stupid or anything, it just seems like you're quite cynical about the density of our consciences. Look, I don't mean to offend you, but there are issues with this type of voice. I mean don't get me wrong, you're in good company! There's a wwhhoole load of people who talk like that, and it's not you're fault! - but yeah, it's probably best if I avoid you're videos for the time being...

  • @Bushy162 "not for the time being...", Forever, I hope. How condescending you are. Oh and please don't shout, it's not as if you have paid to watch my videos!

  • @Bushy162 I hope you are joking man. This stuff is great!!

  • God, this guys voice is SOOOO annoying. It's patronising to the core. He's NOT TALKING TO HIS AUDIENCE. IT'S AS IF HE DOESN"T THINK WE HAVE MINDS.

  • There is a trick for choosing U i.e LIPET which is Log, inverse, polynomial, exponent, trig.. if we encounter any of these first then we take it as U..thats what i figured out

  • @sha31337:ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh okay. :-)

  • I am lost, you should have done a video explaining why we need to do substitution and what are the guildes for choosing U ..u just jumped to solving a substitution problem

  • You are amazing. I am taking an online Calculus with Analytical Geometry class where I have to teach myself out of the book, it's as impossible as it sounds. This just cleared up so much for me, I am grateful I stumbled across this. Too bad you're not my teacher. Thank you so very much!

  • @ChiOmegaSister Thanks for your support of my work. All the best with your course.

  • I hope i pass exam tomorrow,my only preparation were yours examples :D

  • @fuclamse good luck - hope it goes well for you.

  • ty

  • @tealwolfie Pleased to hear that

  • its 317AM i have an exam at 8AM, this right here is awesome, its too bad that video tutorial in such a manner does not completely take over the cumbersome text book standard. even the professors cannot display such clear process, theyre too tied up in the awe and fascination of the methods, that of which takes years of study to grasp, but to them seems so easy to portray in mere small fractions of time to large audiences!! haha. laughable i must say!! THANK YOU

  • I'm not sure I understand why specifically dx/du = 1/(dy/dx).

  • @ProbatumEst It doesn't dx/du = 1 / (du/dx)

  • I wish my textbooks were as clear and concise. Anyway, you have been a tremendous help - thanks! Mr Fly-Boi Esq

  • @flyboifly Thank you

  • i just can't thank examsolutions enough. any thank would be insufficient. It was a great help and because of this I understand integration by substitution, which was the first thing in my life that i was stuck for weeks and could not learn. Thank you soooo much.

  • Fine - Best thanks is a donation to Action Aid from my Maths Aid link below any video on my website.

  • awesome!!!!! helped me tons!!!

  • im a direct entry to a level 2 bachelor of engineering and i have not been taught this, i got notes which i can't make head of on this but you explain it very well. i will be watching more of your videos

  • Thanks - hope they continue to help.

  • Thanku very much. really good explanation. Thanks again.

  • cool, nice way of teaching concisely without babying the audience.

  • that was WOW!thanx fr explaining it in such an easy manner^_^

  • Glad I could be of some help. Thank you all for your comments

  • Thank you. The only thing I would add is an explanation of why you chose the u that you did. This is a simple example, so it makes obvious sense here (I think), but there are some cases where it's less obvious, such as sin^3(x) / cos^2(x)

  • if i were gay i would kiss you right now, thanks a lot

  • Amazing thanks!

  • This helped me a lot, thanks.

  • wow thank u for making it easy to understand. soo easy to revise integration (hardest part of C4 maths) from this. really good explanation. thnx again
