Forgot what a great and unique voice he had, great echo effect on this song,,,truly an original and still underrated singer, right up there with Elvis in ability, my humble opinion
That's understandable: the buying public noticed that the Decca sound was much inferior to Imperial's! And what with the British Invasion... Greetings from France.
@ENACODNOM there was no such thing as "The British Invasion". It was a marketing gimmick and a total farce. They paid girls to scream for the beatles when they came off the plane. It was something the record companies did. Since the record companies are controlled by the Illuminati. Artists that didn't fit with the Illumanti were dropped like potatoes- yes including Elvis.
@mallrabbit When I mean British invasion, I'm not writing about the screaming girls or the policies of the record companies that you are blaming in spite of the fact that they delivered us hundreds of thousands of songs that we enjoyed over the years! You're like a dog biting the hand of the person who feeds him! By the British invasion I simply meant the records sales! And please don't answer because I know you'll invent something silly just for the sake of arguing!
This song is super-cool & is a smooth, hard rocker with that big, full sound. I like it so much that I do a version of it, but mine came out a little slower. Thanks for posting this Fave - great sound & video! Regards, '62 Mathew St.

After the dust settled Elvis & Rick are still on top because both these artists have them all.Looks & talents a rare combination.

Used to look forward to the end of the Ozzie and Harriet show when they'd have him perform. This is one of my favorites.
