  • How Much?

  • I would love it if i could get one with an 120 input and 460 3 phase out.

  • @67tr876 How many horse power do you need? You could use a CFW08 on 460V and a step up transformer from 120 to 460.

  • @TEMCoPower See thing is i have one i got a T8 woods one with a top of 1.5 hp 1.1kw the most they had with 230 volt 3 phase output but when i saw this video now am mad that i could have got a nice easy set up form you then the one i have. But um look i might get one more so ya. And if i am runing a 1 1/2 hp 3 phase motor that take's 5.2 amps of my unit how many amps will that be on the 120 side ? I had to put in a 15 amp breaker for safety. Its got a 5.8 max

  • @67tr876 Your single phase amperage draw at full load on single phase at 120V would be about 18. Your 15 amp breaker will likely suffice though, as you may rarely ever see full load on that motor.

Circuit breakers generally use a time vs current curve to plot the trip point. Basically If you do ever manage to load your motor to its full capacity, it will take a minimum amount of time before the breaker will respond by tripping.

  • @TEMCoPower ok sounds good thanks for your help :)
