I'm pretty sure the sound of this setup is what they use to torture suspected terrorists now that waterboarding is no longer an option. 5 or 6 hours of listening to that and you'll confess to anything to make it stop. Seriously, have you ever heard anything more annoying?
Ha, I can't believe seeing the Apple IIc, it has been probably 21 years since I saw one in grade school. I had to go to Wikipedia and look up a picture to be sure.
this person was probably told to shred those CDs and he chose to do it in a fun way and to make a video. but you could actually do this so if you had other things to do these CDs will auto-shred while you do something else productive.
Now what I am curious about is why you still have a Apple IIc hooked up. I have one myself but it has been 15 years since I last used it. You just do not see them very often.
"Clever. The question is, how long, relatively, did it take you to tape them so intricately? I have a feeling it took longer than just feeding them one-by-one by hand."
It did, but then we wouldn't have been able to make this awesome video. It wasn't done for purposes of efficiency. It was done for the novelty value.

Very cool. I think a shotgun would have worked better : )
Just stack them all together and shoot through them.

The idea is that the CD's may have sensitive information on them and they need to be shredded. It's not that hard to figure out.
