How did the rich get rich? Many started as poor or middle class becaming rich by hard work, taking risks and succeeding.
Dems want to "reward" success with higher taxes believing companies that pay more in taxes will lower prices and hire more employees.

Who cares if the surge worked? There'd have been no need for a surge if we hadn't invaded Iraq in the first place. The surge was a backup plan to a disastrous decision to start war with a sovereign nation that had NOTHING to do with 9/11.

Explain to me why their isn't any actual footage in airport security of the terrorist in the airport or boarding a plane. There was no evidence of anything. The initial reason we went to Iraq was because Saddam supposedly had WPD, yellowcake, aluminum tubes... But nothing was ever found. The Al Quede connection is widely know and is documented. Al Quede radicals were fighting US SOLIDERS IN iRAQ. Saddam used WMDs on the Kurdes and Iranian soliders. I am not voting Obama. I am not voting McCain. I do not support Abortion. I think it is wrong, I have two children of my own and I can't see how people can destroy a life. But everyone thinks everybody has to be marginalized. Like if you are on the left you are pro- gay marriage, pro- abortion or whatever. It just goes to show what idiots we have in America who think they have everyone figured out. I know what's right and what is not. I would change my policy, not destroy more lives.

You have children, yes, you don't have walking talking fetuses. The idea that life begins at conception is a SCIENTIFIC ERROR, not a theological argument. Search for "homunculus" to get a rough idea of it, but you'll have to read page 61 of "The Elements of Moral Philosophy" by James Rachel to get the full story.
Destroying a tiny mass of tissue is not of any moral concern (remember that nearly all "cosmetic" abortions occur during the first trimester).

The man is necessary for conception, but it is the woman's body. Not all fathers are sane or on good terms with their mother. Of course he has a right to express his opinion, but the final decision is the woman's. It is her body, no one but she is master of it.

Would you also argue that, since the baby daddy is responsible for support of the child for 18 years, he should have the right to make a decision against the mother's will to terminate the pregnancy?
The term "choice" would suggest that everyone involved has that opportunity.
Simply put, should a father have the choice to refuse to support a child he didn't want the mother to bring to term?

The term choice doesn't suggest that everybody gets to decide what one person wants. It MEANS that one person gets to decide what is best for that that one person. Fathers do have a choice. They make it when they have sex without protection
And for the record, up until your last comment, directed at someone else on yet another topic, you didn't ask any questions, so how was I avoiding them? I on the other hand, asked you many questions and you didn't even address them, never mind answer.

The 'choice' is to do what you want with your own body. The only difference is the time frame in which is done. With your reasoning, woman should be able to decide if a man gets a vasectomy. By the way, some of your precious Republicans voted to decide that a fetus doesn't have a choice for up to 20 weeks.

Part of being a man is being responsible about where he sows. It's important to know a little about someone before copulation, at least how she feels about motherhood and/or abortion. Finances can be complicated, that she has authority over her body is very simple.

Whatever people chose to do is their right. I don't think woman should be allowed abortions after 3 months. Some doctors perform abortions as far as 7 months, they stick a needle in the womb, into the babies head and kill it. But I think it is ridiculous that people want to outlaw birth control. Being a woman, and knowing many who've had abortions (including family members) all did it before 3 months. I think anytime after that is wrong.

United States companies received more money from the "scandal" than the European nations combined. Pot, kettle, black, lah dee dah. Germany and others refused to participate in this illegal invasion of Iraq because THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT BUSH'S LUNATIC CLAIMS. Every one of his claims was disproved- by inspection- BEFORE THE INVASION. Articles of impeachment should have been written the moment he ordered the invasion in violation of his OWN resolution (invade as a last resort).

There was evidence that he violated U.N. sanctions for 11 years which led to the invasion. He also got the approval of Congress and the Senate.
The continued talking point that it was an illegal war sounds great to people who don't bother to hear or can't comprehend facts.

Bush's father had the same opportunity and chose not to. Was he a liberal? Clinton tried to kill JUST Saddam but admittedly missed his mark. Conservative? Leaving Iraq alone and involving our country in an unendable war with no clear winner that is detrimental to our national and international well-being, are 2 different things. If you can only look at things in a black and white context through skewed vision, there's no point in discussing the Pres as the lowest rated in the history of the US

The Democrats have the Senate majority and with Nancy Pelosi at the helm, things aren't going well.
Dems held the Senate for 30 years of their "war on poverty" and the "enemy" flourished and grew despite Dems best efforts to throw money at the problem.
Now that schools are in horrible shape Democrats want to make certain that parents don't get tax vouchers for better schooling of those children they decided not to murder with abotion.

I said the same thing to you first. We were on the war in Iraq. You never addressed my questions. Instead, you jumped to the war on poverty and the poor state of our schools, blaming the last 30-40 years only on Dems, without addressing the No Child Left Behind mess. Now you jump to free speech, conveniently omitting the changes to the Constitution by Bush and his cronies to quash any resistance to their megalomaniacal trampling of basic human rights. It is not legal to invade a nation for alleged violations of UN resolutions, especially those that are NON-BINDING. If you don't believe me, look to the UN's flat rejection of Bush's invasion proposal.
The reasons given were terrorism links and thousands-ton stockpiles of WMD, both claims were disproved BEFORE the invasion.
The dead-last justification, "spreading democracy," still hasn't happened. The Iraqi government is still wholly subordinate to the US.

We invaded in 2003 to avenge the 1988 attack carried-out with chemical weapons bought from the United States? Elections are meaningless when, as I said, the government has no power. The Iraqi government is still not soverign, and there is no democracy without sovereignty.

I don't think there's any doubt in your mind that we attacked Iraq because of 11 years of U.N. sanction violations as well as continued ejection of weapons inspectors.
The pull out from Iraq is being negotiated with their elected government.

It was an invasion for resources and incorrect strategy, as well as increased authority granted by "war" time powers (despite no war being declared, Mr. Bush is called the Commander in Chief). The UN itself rejected invasion, the resolutions were NOT BINDING and therefore NOT a legal reason for invasion.
It's being negotiated- whose country is it? Imagine a foreign power occupying the US, and our government asking them to leave. No sovereign nation ever has to ASK.
