  • lol what a fuckin nazi racist pig

  • you twats! he is not being racist at all! it's obviously a song against sexism! open your fucking ears and actually listen to the lyrics!

BTW miss you john, even though i was born long after you prematurely left us. oh, what i'd give to see you play...

  • What a bold song, I don't think there's another white artist out there alive or dead that would get up on stage and sing a song like that. Just goes to show how brave and honest John's songwriting was.

  • @ElGoodo also the shit he was getting from the US Goverment as well. Not knowing if they were gonna deport him.

  • He's not being racist, He's explaining we need to let women break out of the old time roles. Look up the lyrics and read them. He is standing up for women

  • He's not being racist, He's explaining we need to let women break out of the old time roles.

  • what a racist

  • @Rikubloodplus your stupid

  • @Rikubloodplus the song is a lament .... not a commentary about race... another one of John's piercing similes.... he never bandied words. damn genius

  • Hmm..not quite the version I remember...

  • badass sax. player.....

    LOVE, MISS LENNON

  • Lennon is very energetic!! damn!!

even he was just standing there singing and playing guitar!

he can do amazing things!! coz he play the song with love not for the money!!

    LENNON FOREVER!!

  • It a great song but I don't agree.

  • Fantastic! No bubble gum music here!!

  • What a great song

  • That sax player almost blows the roof off!

  • There is nothing offensive about this song, as far as I'm concerned. I'm black and I'm also a socialist. I understand what he means and where he's coming from. The language used, although shocking, gets the job done. It's not that he is condoning the use of the word 'nigger', its quite the opposite actually... he's having a go at BOTH forms of discrimination by using it. It can be hard to see justification for the use of the word in the modern world, but for me, he got it right.

    Peace

  • @undercoverbrother67 I've heard that the people who took offence to it were white. I don't think John was being racist anyway. Sometimes it hard to tell what is racist and what isn't. To me you can right a song about anything as long as it's not directly aimed at groups of people. Then when you think of it although I'm against any kind of racism. How come something like killing people and things that are far worse than rasism are allowed in a song yet this gets banned.

  • It's true.

John Lennon 4 ever !!

    BEATLES 4 EVER!!!

  • is it clapton? i dont think so

  • this sounds like they rehearsed about half an hour --- but lennons performance is still great,- one must not agree with everything he did, but he definitely was the man!!!

  • DANCE DANCE !! hear it DANCE!!

  • In 1968 he was in London to get his hair shaved off to benefit Black Panthers, no press showed and i could have but didn't but did photo the pols arounf Trag Sq that posted the event. I felt at the time he was lost and scary....

  • What a voice!!! He could be saying the most offensive stuff and still sound great!!

  • @cami156

La cancion se llama: "Woman Is the Nigger of the World"

  • @cami156 Cami, la cancion se llama:

"Woman Is the Nigger of the World"

  • This concert is so epically filmed. It's like, worshipping Lennon with the camera angles. God, I need to buy this DVD.

  • woman IS the nigger of the world ..think about it...im not racest im john lennon

  • This song is so funny but also very sad

  • beatiful song

  • And we make her sit in a fuckin'bag.

Take a look at The Rock'n'Roll Circus ☻

    3:13 OK Sax......gittar ,more like ☺

  • john's solist carreer was the best of the four beatles

  • George Is next

  • He was a visionary. This is sadly still a reality everywhere.

Thank you for the shock of a lifetime :)

I was born in 1973 and this is the first time I realize what the lyrics of the song is!

  • at 0:39 it seems like he swallowed up his chewing gum

  • la cancion se llama

John Lennon Woman Is The Nigger Of The World

  • why didn't john use his epiphone casino ? i thought that was his main guitar

  • It's JOHN Not Jhon Fuckin Muppet!

  • Jhon is alive.... we love you jhon

  • The POINT is that John is using a 'dirty' word because that is what he is expressing about women and it's true! He also uses the word "slave". GOOD for John, he shocked a lot of people into listening to the truth about women - Ghandi did too!

  • I love John&Yoko, but today's vocabulary is not adjusted to the same ignorance of their time. I hear the message in the song, But I can smell the stink of their bullshit as well.

  • Dude, nigger is a word. They weren't ignorant at all. Where's the bullshit?

  • Yes nigger is just a word, but at the time it was like calling you a Fag today. The stank of their bullshit was the ease at which they tried to use such defamatory language to get

    across the message.

  • Thanks for uploading this, man. Really like it!

  • Who fuckin cares, get out of the house! All I knows is he was fuckin rock n roll, and i wish it was alive today!

  • the greatness

  • That this song creates such a controversy is a vast part of its art and beauty. Using more words probably could not convey the same message any better, "Woman is the slave to the slaves." Kids, you wanna hear REAL punk rock? This is it, six tears early. No wonder Nixon couldn't stand him.

  • Don't worry, John, cause they don't know what they say. Peace to the world, come together, over John, the greatest since Jesus and Gandhi. Make love not war.

  • Not worth really commenting on what sidhaguru said except I feel sorry for him cause he really doesn't get it!

  • I'm waiting for the well well well song.

  • did john ever win a grammy?

  • he was bigger any gammy

  • I totally agree 100%. John didn't need such acolades and materialistic stuff to prove what a great visionary and song writer he was. Sadly many with never 'get' him, even in death.

Your right on the money, nguyenhercm. Right on.

    Long live brother John ...

  • john lenon loved monet that is why he had so much of it,he was a sad heroin addict

  • He wasn't a sad heroin addict. He had a phase in which he was but He went through it. He became clean!! And you don't say something bad about John He did this for benefit not because he needed money!!! John was wonderfull may he rest in peace

  • Amen sister. Power to the people! ...

  • If he was a heroin-addict, well, I don't believe that's what he is remembered for? If you are jealous, listen to the song Jealous guy, and take a hard look in the mirror...

  • Sidhaguru: You claim to be some kind of guru, Yet you proclaim that Lennon, one of our times greatest innovators and political forces, was a sad heroin-addict that loved money and had a lot of it!?

I wonder what kind of guru would make such a thoughtless comment. If you think a little bit about it, not much, I suggest 10 seconds, you will realize why he made a lot of money. Wether he loved it or not, none of us can tell.

  • Amen, trfollower.

I think many also get cought up on the money issue that infamous people make. Back then, John lived well, for sure, but he lived abraod among us here in the U.S. in New York, where it is expensive to live, and he spread the wealth among his friends and spoiled many, it's been said. And he also gave to some charities and played for several, such as in this NYC concert.

People should be allowed to do with they're curreny cash flow as they choose. None of our business ...

  • this kind of guru, lenon was a sad man, heroin addict a hero only to fools, carry on fools with such heros and see were you end up.

  • I ended up here. I appologize for being in a great position

  • rlly? john is the leader we should be following im sorry ur confused with george bush

  • Lennon didn't know what the hell he was except a rebel. Simply someone who was capitalizing on the "peace" message so he could support his lifestyle. If he was true to his message he would not have accepted more than his share of wealth and would have given to "the people" like the Commie/Socialist doctrines he condoned (but being a hypocrite he wanted you and me to live that way). Screw him!

  • im sorry ur confused with george bush

  • No confusion there....Lennon was the slime that people like you love to emulate. What the hell did he ever really do for "peace" except become even more wealthy (hey, good for him he saw a marketing niche and capitalized on it!!).

  • u hit the nail on the head there jdlndlrd he's still good tho lol

  • His self serving motives were highly refined. The message he used to accomplish this was the "peace" mantra which most dopes fell for hook, line, and sinker. Suckers!!

  • What he did is what we all should do. Make love not war. You can call everything bad if you want, I know that`s the easy way. It`s easier to hate than to love. And John loved. That`s what he did.

  • He could have made more money being a Beatle, don't you think? so maybe it wasn't all just about money

  • this is music!

  • you know you're awesome when you're white and say "nigger" and the coloreds don't even care.

  • Why ban this song? They have to read the context of the song, what it means. We`re to political correct, and it fucking destroys us! He didn`t mean "nigger" in a ugly sense. He just used the word to point out the fact that women were being discriminated!

  • jsn, did you actually just say colored? i cant believe that. you obviously dont get the point.

  • thats not the point of the damn song

!hey john ! you ain't got any problems with spanish guys...in the 70's,80's,90's...any time...

  • And now what about the africans who arrive to Spain?

  • africans who arrive to spain are inmigrants looking for opportunities (you might call it "the spanish dream") nunca hubo slavery en españa, nunca se vendieron esclavos en los mercados, es por eso que no hay esa "paranoia" de regresar al pasado, aunque injusticias contra los pobres y gente de color siempre habra en todos los paices del mundo...

  • "Woman is the slave of the slaves"

I think the working class hero was well aware of the situation of the poor. Thats the point he's making. All these divisions have to be overcome, but to overcome them you have to be aware of them. None of this fashnoble crap about not mentioning it, and thinking its an improvement.

    see John Lennon vs US.

  • The message of this song is still VERY much relevant today.

A lot of people here need to get past the n-word and see the true message of this song.

  • I know I am young but I love the Beatles and man oh man this sux !!

  • es lo mejor en conciertos

  • Woman dont smell

  • I Say, Black People Can Choose Whether Their Black Or Niggers. I Know I'm Not A Spick, Because I Choose To Spanish. It Might Not Make Sense To Alot Of You, But Some Of You Catch My Drift.

  • Amen, brother Danien.

People choose if they fall into Stereotypes or not. I'm a calcasian of Scottish and some Irish blood, and American, self-loathingly. People can label me Whitey, Cracker, Cracka, Yankee or whatever. I don't fit into a Stereotype and I try not to let myself get harmed by words, as they're own given the power people seem to give them.

Honestly, if there was an all Nigger channel and I'm being serious, would the word still have power? Meh, I think we all know not.

  • I'm With Ya. I'm Glad To See, Someone Else Out There Got What I Was Trying To Say. Take Care Brandon, Nice Talking To You.

  • And thanks as well, Danien!

nice talking to you as well. And indeed, I wish more listened and 'got' John's music. Many deep meanings, that can be easily interrupted. Stay cool, man ...

  • We are all " niggers" of the world, at least most of

    us, aren`t we? Man, too.

  • I Love and miss John and feel we were robbed of him too early. The statement of this song had relevance in 1972, but not today. Today, the Poor are the "N-word" of the world. Watch "The Money Masters" and let's get it right.

  • as great as this performance was i don't like the concept of having two bassists and drums but what you gonna do its John Lennon lol

  • pEACE !!! wOMAN tHAT rUN WHIT THE wOLVES!!!

  • just because a word is a bad word doesnt mean you should use it. its not like hes calling any person a nigger. hes using it to make a very intelligent statement.

  • That is now the third song I've watched from this concert. Such an awesome concert I hope more show up

  • to make a point, about sexism.

  • why'd he use the'n' world i hate that word a lot..

  • beautiful...
