  • y is the guy filming a kook ?//??? the guy surfing the wave should look down the line not just acspect the guy paddling to move.the guy paddling was on the shoulder he was not in the way.

  • @crazyhigh2244 Yeah Buddeeeee! Good looking out, hahaha!

  • all 3 of em by all 3 i mean the surfers and bigtimebobby

  • The guy that was riding wad the goon. He could not control his board. The paddling well he can not padle to fast or duck dive but the man with more control of direction ( the guy riding ) who should have had more directional control is at fault.

  • another shitty windan day with old untalented surfers thinking its 25ft makaha

  • dudes just paddling out not his fault surfer sucks ass

  • lol, bad timing. Happens to everyone once in a while.

  • im with bonscottrules....if the SUP's and longboarders could do this on a regular basis we would all have more waves while they and their 20' boards were out of commision. Both those guys were kooks. kook for being in the way and kook for not controlling your board on a childs wave

  • as a wave rider, you have a certain responsibility to avoid ppl in the lineup. he could have killed the guy he hit. fu$k!

  • it was a screw up does it mean one persen is a kook a word used to much surfer thought I can go behind guy in water thought o damn a guy on the wave already better turn around and swim into it and boom when you walk into someone and you both dodge the same way dosent make one person a better walker

  • @DrSalvador4 I have no idea what that sentence means.

  • @bigtimebobby06 I must say i agree i was on my phone at the time and punctuation was...forgotten about at the time. =(

  • @DrSalvador4 theyre both kooks

  • A KOOK is as a KOOK does. I know, I know,... Escapes from Kooks are us. Sheet there just havin FUN, playin crash test dummies . Dude I saw it on TV.

  • Dual Kooks, as a rule da paddler should paddle! And into da soup is the place to go. But the rider has some speed and mobility and can turn... well should be able to turn anyway. Both Blind Bat KOOKS. AHDUH ... Lidat

  • i vote the one riding the wave cause if he knew how to surf he would hav realised thats the perfect section for a turn

  • vote yes if the surfer is the kook and i will make a diffrent comment box for both and yes

there is one for the other guy

  • Ok here is the scoop vote yes if you think the guy getting ran over is the kook

and in a diffrent post I will do one for the guy surfing

  • are the boards ok?

  • The guy surfing is not a kook. You don't bail your board or just cut through someone...you work around them..

  • trick question, the kayaker ... there was a kayaker in that video, no?

  • they're both kooks, but the guy paddling out more so. why stop paddling when you see someone coming at you and then just bail you board towards the oncoming surfer? if he kept on paddling (aggressively), this collision could have been avoided...

  • Sometimes whhen paddling out you just wind up in a bad spot the guy on the longboard is the kook so much room wh couls have easily gon above or below.

As for Sup's they are as crappy as sponges.

  • they guy on the board is a kook because he straight up ran him over! The guy on the board should have been paddling to the right and just taken the already broken wave to the head.. you gotta take one for the team sometimes and hope that someone will do it for you when your riding on a nice face and don't want to mess up your ride.. I would have duck dived that longboard..lol

  • both one should have gotten the fuck out the way and the other should have not been stupid and turned away from the guy

  • the one filming

  • @fukyashitman CORRECT!

  • @bigtimebobby06 also the two other idiots out in the water who had a collision, but def the filmer cuz it looked fun out there

  • all of them

  • The rider is obviously not experienced and neither is the dumbass paddler who didn't move.

  • Not both...you guys are crazy. It's always the paddlers responsibility to get out of the way! Always!!! The rider should not have to change his line and draw a bottom turn around the paddler cause he was stargazing up the face...

  • Comment removed

  • Both, the rider had a TON of time to respond, and the floater needed to paddle towards the white water.

  • They both seem a little inexperienced. The rider was fortunate to get that wave, and he had a little trouble controling his board. The floater was just floundering there. Maybe he was watching his buddy and cheering him on. He didn't seem to be paddling one way or the other. Hopefully there was no malicious intent.

  • rider

  • both are kooks,and bigtimebobby.

  • @warmachine1770 HAHA! That's the first on here that I have been called the kook. That's funny and yes, I am. Chalk it up on the scoreboard, one vote for me.

  • @warmachine1770 CORRECT!

  • A longboard isn't THAT hard to turn, it looks like the guy surfing the wave either didn't see the paddler, or ran over him on purpose,...for what purpose, I have no freakin' idea. Or,.... maybe he's very nearsighted.

  • This is remarkable. I wonder what the percentage of votes is. I wish there could be a voting box. It has to be somewhat close. There are comments everyday, I love it! HAHAHAHAHA!

  • guy on the shoulder is the kook cuz he didnt duck dive the wave he wasnt evn on his board but the dude surfing should hav avoided him

  • @surferguy331 whats the point in duck diving a two foot wave when your in the open wave face?

  • the guy who bails off his board nd doesnt no how to paddle is da kook

  • herp

  • I WILL NEVER understand why people RISK other peoples livelyhood just for another half section or full section of a wave (like 4 more seconds of good face time). It's not like the Ocean is closing down for the rest of the decade after that wave? Some people either can't handle their adreniline, are greedy, or are just evil scumbags that need.... a friendly shove? Lol

  • @MajesticAndRestless Well said.....I mean..it pisses me off that some kooks can't duck dive..and try to beat it around the crest when your trying to drop in,,,but unless I'm 100%..I'm not going to take a chance on crushing someones skull to catch a wave...but you see people do..and they pretend they didn't see you...I try to educate kooks if I have a chance,,because it's different these days..most of them don't know the rules...

  • Comment removed

  • lol even if i wasint local id smash that dude on the red board and yes hes a wambat kook

  • a lot of kook and stupid people in these comments too omg

obviously there is 1 kook it's the rider omg he saw him and make sure he would hit him he turned to do that and even if he wouldn't the man is paddling omg he got caught out by a wave and paddling omg

  • @Enorielle1 he lacks the ability to do a cut back lol

  • fuck this shit, i'm a begginer but i've been avoiding a lot of people out there... turning isn't that hard, that cunt go straight to the paddler. HE'S THE KOOK.

  • @BlackAlpharo dont let that homo put u off

  • The guy paddling out is the Kook, the man on the wave ALWAYS has the right of way end of story.

  • it would be great if all longboarders did this to each other on a regular basis till there were none left.....Obviously both kooks,,,but guy on the shoulder was not at fault...comment not intended for any skilled longboarder who doesn't use it as a weapon to be a wave hog...at least SUP's are now the largest scurge on the face of this earth.

  • @bonscottrules Yes, SUP's are unreal. In the middle of the lineup and with a monster of a board they cannot control. Picking off waves. It's ridiculous. I still can't believe how many comments are coming in now on this video, hilarious. It sat silent for a long time, then all of a sudden there are comments every day on it! HA! I love it. I wish they would have fought in the water, that would have been great footage bonus. Oh well.

  • @bigtimebobby06 It's a funny/good video and a good question...The SUP's are exactly like you said..ridiculous.You get these SUP guys who see it some Men's Health mag b.s. article...who carry a large wallet,,,go out clueless in a line up..and are basically guided missiles..I've seen an SUP almost kill someone.blew his head open.guy probably need 10-15 stitches.and the kook was acting innocent. I had a good mind to go over and start wailing him in the face, but just told him to get the fuck out!!!

  • @bonscottrules Couldn't have said it better myself. I surf short and longboards but I'm no wave hog.

  • @longbeachdirtbag hahaha...yeah, I get ya..You're one of the few who get it..I love longboard guy who catches a wave...proceeds to paddle back to the same spot,,,,but then a wave comes straight to you..and longboard guy decides it's a good idea,, to paddle 50 yards over from his previous spot to drop in from out the back and go straight....good times...lol.

  • @bonscottrules actually SUPs arent the ones...its the assholes who have nothing better else to do but talk trash

  • I believe the rider is the kook. Twice riders have surfed straight into me. First time he wasn't looking where he was going. The second time he panicked and ploughed straight through me and left a broken off fin in my board. I hope I'm just unlucky and not in fact the kook!

  • The guy who got hit is a kook.

  • All five of them are kooks, surfing such a sorry-ass excuse for a surf spot.

  • @chaopoiesis I'd love to see you try to paddle out.... You probably can't even swim! And the word is spelled S-P-O-R-T dumbass....

  • @edgelovesurf Um, no... it's "spot" actually. I suspect if you were an actual local, your response would have been more along the lines of "it's a lot better at low tide, bozo". That I'd buy. You I don't.

  • the are both COCK SMOOCHE'S

  • I am a firm believer in the rider up always had priority and it's the job of the "observers" to get out of the way. So, homeboy paddling out should not have been over zealous and taken a wider track. If this was clay marzo pumping down the line, I am sure people would be reacting differently. Great analysis happening though! Hope it cuts down on less of this shit happening...doubtful though.

  • This is amazing! There are comments almost everyday on this video! I love it! HAHAHA! I change my mind too. Originally I said both are, but the rider is for sure. The paddler is off on the shoulder, sometimes you are stuck in a place on the inside and it's hard to quickly move out of the way. Plus it's a longboard. The rider easily could have simply just turned out of the way. Keep the comments coming people!

  • the guy standing up. if he werent so shit that wouldnt have happened

  • The logger is a mega kook. The other guy was not at fault.

  • They clearly deserve each other.

  • Pure GOLD! Those 2 dickheads were made for each other. It was inevitable that they should meet in this way. If I believed in reincarnation I would suggest that the will probably continue to fuck each other up in a similar fashion for all eternity.

  • the guy standing up surfing is the KOOK. The guy just lying there is a Flounder/begginer. Got to learn to turn if there is someone/thing in your way.

  • Barney-on-kook porn

  • The dude surfing is not a worthy surfer. He can't turn or control whatsoever. Kid paddling out is not at all at fault.

  • LOL, he didn't even try to turn!

  • Any non kook knows that they shouldn't be lying in the middle of a wave in conditions like this, but the person riding should know how to turn out of the paddlers way...both kooks.

  • Turn your log, killer. Come off the top, extend your high line, or go over the back. There's a dude in the street homeboy. If it was a rock he would have hit that too. Pretty kooky situation.

  • The surfer who is riding is clearly the kook, anyone with decent skill on a longboard could have turned out of the paddlers way.

  • what is a kook? (and don't say me,because that is just stupid)

  • both of them are indeed kooks..

  • Dangerous situations are always going to arise in surfing and you have to use your brain. Longboarder riding clearly lacks control. You can see that at takeoff as he's flailing. Paddler was in kick out zone not take off zone and was attempting to paddle wide to get out of standing riders way and give him of room to maneuver. He did his part. But standing surfer seemed to pick the one small area the paddle surfer was in - like hitting a bulls eye. The standing surfer is the kook not the paddler.

  • He is the poster child..representing the majority of the people in the water

  • Both cause one can't turn and the other can't duck dive ughh they done goofed

  • the kook who can't steer one the one who can't paddle...thumbs up if you can't decide

  • when are you gonna stop calling me a barney anymore. "When your not a barney any more barney."

  • the one paddling

  • okay i been surfing one year shy of a quarter century and my opinion on the terms kook an barney are this.....the first time your grommet ass hit the water you werent "the shit" everybody got learn sometime

  • rule of thumb is the person paddling back into the line up needs to get out of the way but this was just negligence lol.

  • both

  • why didnt he just ollie over him? simple enough...

  • They are clearly both kooks. IF the guy up and riding the wave WASN'T a kook...he would have easily avoided the other surfer. The other surfer is undoubtedly a kook due to his impeccable ability to be in the worst possible location to ruin the wave for the rider. Take a wave on the head in order not to ruin another surfer's ride, and perhaps they would do the same for you...

  • Hello Kook, my name is Barney...

  • @SimeoneZone hello barney , my name is haole

  • theyre both kooks, but the one paddling is probably the bigger kook cus ur supposed to watch for nd get the hell out of the way of shit like that. but the dude who was up couldve easily snapped a turn around him. thus! theyre both kooks

  • Holy Crap.....Governor Douche Bag, Meet Governor Douche Bag. Now you know what happens when two village idoits meet each other.

  • Correct! They are both KOOKS !

  • be a man and paddle towards the whitewash not up the face of the wave, however this out of control surfer could have easily avoid him with a simple little bottom turn
