  • I remember this 12" single since I was a youngster. I guess the demo version of "Turn It On" is on the other side.

  • Level 42 were the Band of the 80's !!

  • I think I have a bootleg copy of this song, but it doesn't sound like this! This bassline is so dope, plus the killer synth leads... Your record collection is gold! Make that platinum!

  • I used to listen 1000 times this tape ... such a great album !

  • Oh hell yea

  • THIS WAS THE JAMM BACK IN THA DAY!! THE BRIDGE IS OFF THE CHAIN!!! THE KEYBOARD WORK IS SOOOO SWEEEET!!! LUVVIN IT 2 THE CENTER OF MY SOUL!!

  • Saw them in concert in Koln Germany in 1984.......I was hooked on the first note......Awesome band and awesome jam!!

  • back in the day when i was 12 i thought i was the only person in the world who thought this tune was amazing !!! how youtube has brought so many music lovers on the same page..

  • Excellent!! Thank you soooo much. Reminds me of my friends back in the day at te Guggenheim in NYC!!

  • In the British Queens for the dinnertime disco every Saturday with this blaring out.

Oh how I miss going to football in the 80's

  • Classic Classic Classic!!!! Thanks For posting!!!

  • One of those go-to tracks I remember from WBLS & KISS FM, NYC back in the day. On boxes in the streets & parks.

  • Can't put into words what this song means to me... like so many others it appears, guess that's the signature of a song that hits the spot for some of us....

  • WOW...WOW...WOW...I can still remember where I was when I first heard this song. I remember the cold winter night that I listened to this song as a youngster and DREAMED of going to the STARS, as I looked up into the cold winter sky. The stars were so clear that night. Thanks. I'll play this tonight as I get my drink on at my brother's house and again at home on my pation with my wife.

  • excellent song, still sounds great 27 years later!!

  • Best level 42 song ever. LOVE it

  • Mikes synth is so funky it sounds like its sucking the fart from my ass.

    Just amazing!

  • I love finding plagiarism everywhere.

System of a Down rips off the melody of the chorus of this song 50 seconds into their song "BYOB".

...or they were making fun....not cool either way.

  • no se si sera mucho decir pero esa cancion sencillamente me hace llorar,no de tristeza si no de emocion es una magnifica creacion de estos genios de la musica los admiro muchisimo que lastima que ya no se haga musica tan magnifica......

  • dude - your youtube channel is awesome - really nice work!!!!

  • Great music, thank you very much for post it! =)

  • oh man,... spent so many nights jammin' to this at a club called Bonds on 46th and B'way in NY city,... it was THE JAM ! life stood while we were all young and dancing our cares away,...

  • They don't make songs like this anymore its a shame

  • i love this song it reminds me so much of my days as a teenager

  • there is some music that touches one very deep. but then there is that genre of music that is timeless. this song was done in the early 80's and still has the same kick as when i first heard it...

  • check out the 2010 acoustic version from the band, i'd go as far as say it is as good as the original

  • Excellent song from an underappreciated group.

  • When I was a young boy my teachers would constantly tell my mother that I had a tendency to daydream in class; this is what my daydreams sound like. This song, and especially that bridge, hits me in a place almost too deep, too vulnerable. It feels so good that it just owns me. Ah music, My Timeless Bitch!; age cannot wither Her...

  • @mrmiles725

    Wow, raw poetry!

    Luv it!!

  • @mrmiles725 That bridge like tubular bells!!!! Me and my friends were almost barking at the moon with delight when it was coming up in the song - we would lose it! What a groove!

  • Nice.... REAL Nice~Soundz jus' tha way I remember it !
