  • Lazy American work ethic. Being unemployed in this economy is too hard for you? Then go but don't exprct live off of unrmployment benefits. Socialist work ethic. At least this loose cannon isn't around to cause any workplace violence.

  • @ToxicOdiousOne a little racial dont you think?

  • i no how u feel we were droped off at 5 our flight was gona leave at 7 but it was delayed till 9:39 then 12:30 then 1:10 then 1:50 so 1:50 comes we were still waitin in the airport were u were so at like 3 in the mornin they canled the flight because they had 2 get a new crew but they couldbt find 1 so they say go down stairs 2 get ur stuff we go down wait like 20 mins it wasnt there and guess wat they put it on a flight 2 ft laurdadale so we didnt have our stuff it was in florida

  • well yeah i feel sorry for them but they should stop blaming jetblue for what happened, since it wasnt their fault

  • yeah after that incident the passenger bill of rights was passed and now everything is better because the dodgers ALSO fly on Jet Blue. Yes the dodgers make it worth riding on the big blue bus.

  • no it never got passed...and jetblue sucks

  • So explain to me. Why do they suck?

  • They're a low cost carrier...nuff said

    !

  • cute

  • And the J.D Power and Associates award goes to ....jetBlue! For 4 consecutive years in a roll for best customer satisfaction! That shows you how good they are even with the whole snow storm!

  • Jetblue is the only way to fly today. and no matter what you all complaint about, you still choose to fly Jetblue..why because they are the only dumb ass to put up with your crap. try another airline and see what you get? :)

  • People don't realize that it wasn't Jetblues fault really. It was JFK's fault. They barred Jetblue from allowing people to take off or deplane. So really you should be "Mad" JFK.

  • JetBlue made a mistake and appologised afterwards. You should accept their appology if you haven't already and moved on.

We (my family and I) previously flew on four flights to and from Orlando. One of the seats on the flights had a problem with the audio jack (there was no sound). Since it had been reported by someone else (we didn't report it), JetBlue gave our whole family money and appologised for the inconvience.

  • exceptions been kept as rules

  • Ok..so just read this and some of the rants. I got a kick out of the video...we Northeasterners saw a lot of you and your fellow passengers on news that weekend!

Bottom line...JETBLUE made a monumental mistake leaving passengers out on tarmac so long.

Recently, we flew in to JFK on JETBLUE. They kept us from a gate for 30-40 minutes due to heavy air traffic.

I had an email the next day (I am a Blue member)and received $25 towards another flight for my inconvenience. unexpected. Lesson leanrnd

  • but one can only imagine with the current economic standings of all American carriers can JetBlue really afford to keep paying out money to passengers every time they make a mistake?

  • You know what? For me,I would rather be stranded in the airport or in the plane, rather than when the plane took off, then there's an technical error while up in the sky and then plane crashed. That would worst if happens.

  • Next time, when you guys will stranded again,Take a train or bus instead..lol

  • wow B6 sucks...(not that i didn't know that already)

  • JetBlue is the best domestic airline. If you dont want to take a chance of being stranded in an airport or having your flight canceled due to bad weather DONT COME TO NORTHEAST IN THE WINTER.

  • thank you for advertising for jet blue the only way im ever flying with them now is if i had the urge to sit in an airport doing nothing is airtran any better cause we just got them in charleston sc

  • Safety the reason why the flight didn't take off you moron, Jetblue more then compensated when they didn't need to. Go ahead take another airline, hope the plane crashes. At least Jet blue doesn't charge an arm and a leg and they have superior service, your an idiot

  • Cheap Airlines like JetBlue are hopeless, use a better airline with better service next time, that way these cut price airlines will either improve or go out of buisness

  • its not their fault their were other planes that had to leave or snow on the runway, get a life and stop putting down great airliners. last i checked, they're the only airline in the world with live tv.

  • What do you have to day about the stability of Delta? At least Jet blue wont go out of business. Maybe you would like to pay more to fly. Jet blues air fares are less expensive due to the fact they buy the gas cheaper, its called hedging you idiot

  • I want to know why it is always such a big deal if a jetBlue fly is delayed or cancelled. Other airlines have the same issues, but you never hear about them. It is because jetBlue has a great reputation. Having that great reputation means they are not allowed to have issues. Fly other airlines and post your videos of their delays, cancellations and service. jetBlue will still out compete every one of them.

  • Great Airline????????? HAHAHAHA good reputation?????????? HAHAHAHAHAHA again it was on FOX news that Jetblue has 52% of it's flight's cancelled

  • first off, fox news is not a real news channel.

second, you need to understand that the majority of b6 flights are originating or destined to jfk, as its their hub.

three, you also need to take into account the tens of thousands of other delays at the jfk and surrounding airports (ewr, lga) due to the weather system that had stalled over the area.

  • thank you

  • jetBlue is a shitty airline with the worse customer service ever with trashy people like AirTran has. Fuck jetBlue I cant wait til they go outta business.

  • No chance of that happening. They make a ton of money even after they lost 326 million dollars. Do you think Delta would refund your money? Of course not you moron

  • You have a choice when you travel.

For you, sir, might I suggest Greyhound next time?

  • Yeah that makes a lot of sense retard... lol! You guys are just trolls looking to argue. Move on please.

  • Its a lose-lose situation for them. I feel bad for you the passenger and the airline. You are both in a bad place, but just chalk it up to a life experience and go about your life. There would be a lot less headaches

  • Who's headaches would be mitigated by this? Have you even answered a single question of mine here or just re-directed the conversation? Suddenly we need to chalk all this up to a life experience? Apparently you chalk up all bad situations as just life! Well I have news for you. If all of us just accepted the way things are, we would still be living in the stone age. Things get better because people are amazing beings of ingenuity. Wake up and smell the future.

  • It dosen't help to railroad a good company into the ground. You say you want to change the situation....then tell us. Point is you don't know how, you are just a whiny asshole. You always change this and that, but its not that easy.

  • The do countless things right, you can't always get everything perfect....they are human, but everyone thinks they should be flawless and then gives them a ripping the one time they do something wrong. They should of said piss on everyone...I would have especially after proving their airline to be in the top for cus satisfaction then 1 incident tarnishes their reputation.

  • Again, if you only paid attention... The point was to say this happened year after year. And again you don't see this happening on EVERY airline. Most cancel before you get stranded and then some even help you get home.

  • Everyone takes air travel for granted and then feeds them to the wolves when things go wrong. Don't hurt an already struggling industry by adding to their problems just bc you are having a bad day....or two I guess.

  • Sorry, did I not tell you already! You never listen! I still flew JetBlue this year. I still use the airlines but is it wrong to demand changes to a flawed system? You sound like a bad dictator. "Don't complain, just be happy and move on." Or maybe we should just "Stay the course?" This is all fixable. You are just making excuses. So please stop.

  • Yea it is too bad that you had to sit the on the tarmac for 8 hours...it sucks and I wouldn't of liked it either, but sometimes you just got to chalk it up to life. Life isn't always fair. They can't book rooms and schedule everyone's way home for thousands of people, plus they have the next days passengers coming in so it is already a migraine for them just trying to deal w/ the situation.

  • Are you trying to argue that it is too hard to schedule flights for thousands of people? I do believe it happens EVERYDAY! Wow one excuse after another, eh?

  • Yes airlines schedule thousands of flights everyday, but notice there are weather delays all the time. When a blizzard hits its twice as hard to schedule flights bc the whole system is backed up and you have to deal with all the airports around the country. You aren't comparing apples to apples (sunny day to blizzard). Have you ever thought about anything on your own or just complained to mommy everytime something didn't go your way.

  • Funny how many people want to hate on me for shedding light on a bad situation. You ask anyone of the thousands of people how they felt. Regardless of mother nature JetBlue has a commitment to their customer to make the incident as painless as possible. They refused to help us at all. Not even to help us find another flight. We had to standby on an already overbooked flight! Plus, you weren't there so STFU! Only those stranded for 8 hours or more on the tarmac get credibility.

  • How are they supposed to help. Its a freakin blizzard. THey were stuck on the runway.....stuck. They didn't sit there by choice. They had no way out. They couldn't help you. Besides, you people were bitching so much they couldn't get through to you.

  • You are a complete idiot... Did you even read my response? I AM TALKING ABOUT AFTER THE 8 HOURS OF BEING STUCK! Regardless of the blizzard JetBlue should have helped us once we were stranded with no way home (after being stuck on the tarmac). Watch the video again dumbass.

  • Jetblue had as much control over that delay as YOU did. They tried to get you to where you were going. They didn't sit on the runway for 8 hours for your health. They don't make money sitting on the runway or refunding tickets. Get a clue.

Next time you drive somewhere and the freeway closes because of heavy snow who are you gonna blame this time?

  • Just read my earlier posts about this... you guys are idiots. I am not blaming JetBlue for the canceled flight, I am blaming them for ZERO help once we were 8 hours into being stranded and left with no way home. You get a clue!

  • Somethings you can't make better. The industry is just fine. If you don't like it....drive. Jet Blue didn't feed you to the wolves....the weather did...thats mother nature. You can't sue or blame mother nature bc you won't get anything from them, but you blame the airline just so you can have some satisfaction of a forced apology from an entity that had no fault to begin with. Why do you think they were one of the highest rated customer service airlines to begin with....hum.

  • Again, I actually like JetBlue and I flew them this year again to Florida. But you are missing my point entirely. Just because they are better overall than the rest, doesn't make it right to do what they did to me. It's like Bush being the lesser of two evils. Still doesn't make the deception any less tragic. And how many times must I tell you I never blamed JetBlue for the flight being canceled due to weather!!

  • Thats the point. THEY didn't do anything to YOU. THEY had no control of the situation. They can't just turn around on an active taxiway with out ATC clearance.

  • Just stop posting since you have nothing of value to add here. You simply don't understand what my video was even about. AFTER the stuck part, JetBlue in no way helped us find a way home. We were stuck because JetBlue didn't care that our flight was canceled and left us out in the cold, literally.

  • Probably because you people bitched so much they said piss on you. I don't blame them. Nobody has any idea how the aviation industry works and blames them for anything going wrong. THey were just fed up. Their job is to fly you, not book your hotels, etc. THat is your responsibiliy. It takes all their energy to just schedule their thousands of daily flights.

  • FYI, Mr. ASSumption. We found our own hotel and our own way home and it wasn't that hard. All it takes is a little compassion to make things 1000 times better. And if you notice, I was laughing through the entire video. I never bitched at anyone. Yet I heard a LOT of bitching to me (i.e. I've not even had my lunch break yet!) from Customer Service staffers. They had the ability and the time to help all of us. One quick example: they have given out vouchers for hotels.

  • So you did find your own hotel. If it wasn't that hard then why the bitching. You just bitch to bitch. The airlines had compassion until all they heard was bitch bitch bitch, then they said FU! Takes 2 to tango. It makes their job twice as hard when people are being rude and gawking in their face.

  • To all the haters including jonflyhigh, SHUT UP! I recorded my ordeal and hope that this sheds light on the poor state of the industry. We can pass blame from mother nature to ATC. In the end it doesn't make up for the fact that as customers we were "left to the wolves" as it were. JetBlue totally disregarded our feelings and we had no help. That is the part that is so wrong with the situation. Year after year it happens the same way. WAKE UP! Make it better!

  • It happens year after year bc weather happens year after year. Jet Blue can't do anything about it. You jsut think they didn't care...they can't do anything about it....the FAA has complete control in this case.

  • Sorry but you must be retarded! How many times must I tell you I never blamed JetBlue for the flight being canceled due to weather!! Please quote my video where I blame JetBlue for the snow or the canceled flight. Until then you have no valid points...

  • The government needs to quit dragging their feet and bring this new system online ASAP so the airline industry can begin to pick up the pieces.

  • Nice insight! Rings very true! I admire the planning and scheduling you guys go through every day in the system ops control...keep up the good work!

  • ATC is just showing the world that they are in need on a new operating system/satellite based radar (which I agree with) and what better way of doing so than by screwing up the daily operations of the one busiest airports in the world. ATC is screwing over so many people and its quite sad but they are playing their cards quite well. What better way to prove your point that by making the airline industry squirm and plea for mercy.

  • JFK is an absolute nightmare. I deal with them on a daily basis with on average 30 flights either departing from JFK or going to JFK. I work for a major airline in the system operations control and can tell you it is not the airlines fault. What Jonflyhi said about being under ATC control is correct. We are at the mercy of ATC and mother nature. Neither of which can be predicted.

  • jonflyhigh is very prolific when it comes to defending airlines and telling us all the reasons it is so bad. Well guess what! Things don't have to be so bad! There are plenty of times things are bad because nobody bothers to fix it until stuff like this happens. Neeleman had a vision and he got removed from his post because of it. Because small minded people like you jon, don't get the bigger picture. You're too worried about the blah, blah crap to do anything real.

  • Also, I don't care about defending Jet Blue....to tell the truth I really don't care for them that much. But not for the reasons here.

  • and you can't let passengers out of the plane on an active taxiway....security issues. Now take that times how many planes there are at the airport needing the same thing and you get the picture.

  • pilots and flight attendants have limited duty days...if they fly over their "crew time" they would have legal reprecussions and possible license revoktion (you think pilots will risk their career over that...not likely),

  • Airlines don't control everything...they are under FAA Air Traffic Control jurisdiction when on a taxiway or runway. Plus when tires are freezing to the pavement it makes it a little harder to move the plane! They will only de-ice when they are certain they can move......de-ice fluid is more expensive than fuel.

  • Google and search this site for additional info on stranded passengers-Kate Hanni. This situation happens a lot, but not as bad as this situation. Sorry y'all had to go through this, but it does help put add wood to the fire and the cause. Thanks for documenting it. B

  • Bad Airline huh? This is for 2007: Best Airline for Customer Service 2007 JDPower. They are doing something right.

  • this is the funniest video on YouTube. Day 2 I would have been laughing in tears.

  • I would be very pissed there is no reason for that!

  • LOL it's so nice to see this story after hearing about it from the Duo :)

  • That sucks. The video is funny. Never experience anything like that ever.

  • my experience was in no way has terrible as this. that sucks. i had a flight with jetblue scheduled for 4/24 at 6:50 p and didn't get home until 4/26 around 7 p. i missed two days of work, not to mention the money spent from being out of town AND i was traveling with my 4mos old son. i called there customer service center today and recieved no compensation. NOTHING! that was my first and last flight with jetblue.

  • Actually it is their procedure and their policy to get the customer there even if it is late. And there are policies about how long the pilot's and crew can be on duty, and fees for going back to the gate and the cost of deicing a plane how many times. And it was 2007!!! Do you really think that the airline wanted to lose money on that flight and they wouldn't have flown the flight if they could have. They don't cancel flights because they like losing money.

  • Finally someone with some sense! Way to put it man! People don't realize airlines are in business to make money....if they don't we don't have any airlines at all and have to resort to driving....they thought they had it tough with Jet Blue. People need to realize the risks with air travel. People don't grasp the effect of one plane on the MILLIONS of other flights going on in the world and the impact on one another....its not a simple fix. Again, kudos for the words of wisdom.

  • No, there is a better way and Southwest came to the rescue for me in this situation. Even though I still like JetBlue for their features I hate them for their lack of care in situations like mine. We were stranded and JetBlue said, "Sorry, find your own way home." Not cool no matter who you are. You would be mad too. Don't try to act like you would be perfectly content with being stuck anywhere and your job expecting you back the next day, no matter the situation. So shut up and get real!

  • That is why you have sick time and vacation. I wouldn't be mad bc sometimes crap happens....its part of life. DOn't blame others so easily. You have to coordinate with ATC, de-ice again, get ground crews to push you back to the gate (which is hard considering the amount of snow fall and the limited radius to turn bc of the limited amount of snow plows which most are clearing runways...not taxiways),

  • Sure well guess what, I bet you get really upset when people get upset like this at airlines because you work at one. And you are taking these posts to heart, ahhhh. Well sorry for hurting your ego. But if you had a brian capable of abstract thought you would realize there is more to the story than simply bashing JetBlue. Retard.

  • By the way, I don't work for an airline jack ass. I just have a brain. You fools just can't think about anything else to do but blame someone.

  • And what are you doing? Blaming me for being an upset customer? You have no idea, you weren't there so STFU!

  • Thats just it! HA HA. Just blaming you for being the pain in the ass of the airline industry....they should be spending time trying to run a company and lower rates, but having to put up a PR front takes a toll. Thanks for making our rates go up! Probably one of those people that sue anybody if they make your day wrong.

  • Sorry but you must be retarded! How many times must I tell you I never blamed JetBlue for the flight being canceled due to weather!! Please quote my video where I blame JetBlue for the snow or the canceled flight. Until then you have no valid points...

  • What is unique is that I have NEVER seen a company apologize as much as JetBlue, almost to the point of groveling. If they are good to their word (they'll have to be!), then they'll be OK.

BTW, JetBlue supposedly extended their "Bill of Rights" to other airlines to have them sign it, but NOT ONE of them did! Why? Because they don't want to commit to their passengers the way JetBlue has.

  • i've flown on other airlines and have been treated MUCH better whenever there has been a delay or inconvenience (without even asking). jetblue didn't do anything for me and i was stranded for 2 days with an infant (months after the disaster in febuary). there customer service sucks.

  • AAL558, you are a first-rate moron! JetBlue is a very good airline which let all of its customers down in February. I think it was made especially newsworthy because JetBlue was not known for bad customer service prior to this. Other airlines were highly affected by the storm too but JetBlue had the most delayed planes and got the most bad press.

  • Actually, a couple of other airlines were able to fly. I think most flights were cancelled because jetBlue was stuck to the ground by ice...lol how does that happen, I have no idea, but a couple of other airlines were still flying.

  • The problem is jetBlue is garbage. Its been in this country for 6yrs, I hope it doesnt expect another 2 like that. They lost 23MILLION dollars. Just goes to show AmericanAirlines is better.

  • man that must of sucked.

  • the problem is not jetblue, the problem is the weather. and u should spend your time planning your diet; like not eating for a year.

  • You should try taking your head out of your butt and critically thinking about the situation. Our flight was not canceled because weather was so bad but because we took too long to take off. Tell the same thing to all the people the same situation happened to this year. If you paid attention you would know that this happened LAST YEAR (2006)!! It is just showing that JetBlue isn't totally aware of the impact of their policies and procedures. Get a clue.

  • problem is that you don't know how an airport runs man. If you did you would s**t. It is too complicated for you small minded people. You like to blame anyone....even if there is no blame except mother nature. Just like blaming Katrina on Bush.....you all have elevators that don't go to the top floor.

  • Well if you noticed, numb nuts, I never blamed JetBlue for the bad weather. I blamed them for bad planning. The worst part of the whole incident was not having a way home. Airlines make customers buy tickets in advance and have hefty cancelation fees. On the other hand, customers have no way to get back for their lost time, pain and suffering. Get a clue!

  • Boo hoo. Airlines can't plan around bad weather retard. Sometimes sh** happens.

  • Nice comment. What you ain't got anything better than that to say? Imbecile.

  • You're just mad bc you know you are wrong.

  • What am I wrong about? You have only pointed out problems with the industry, nothing I didn't already know... So tell me what I am wrong about, huh?

  • Thats the point...its not the industry's problem its your problem and the nature of the beast (weather). You can't run millions of flights a day and be perfect on them all. Thats a risk you take as an airline customer. The point is you are blaming the wrong thing. Just ignorance thats all.

  • Sorry but you must be retarded! How many times must I tell you I never blamed JetBlue for the flight being canceled due to weather!! Please quote my video where I blame JetBlue for the snow or the canceled flight. Until then you have no valid points...

  • this was funny

  • take the bus next time, idiots. don't make plans in the winter if you don't want problems.

  • Perfectly said!

  • wow you must really have some anger management issues, you really are a small minded person with the language you use I guess you can play your quest on bashing on a good airline, if it makes you feel big and special. you go ahead and feel special little boy

  • LOL, let me assure you I am not a JetBlue executive, I am a Customer. I can tell your really intelligent individual with the "screw you" and such. Please grow up and be an adult your are probably like 17 with the way you act!

  • It's funny how many people blame the airlines because of weather, and act like they are the only ones that are put out. If JetBlue is having problems then everyone is, im sorry that you had to take the beat up old cattle call airline back to sacramento, but when situations like this go down, its always easier to trash talk the best airline,im sure JetBlue made it up to you, I personaly have had them bending over backward when im in a situation like this. try getting that on another carrier!

  • OK, JetBlue should just sue FAA, if it wins, will be the only airline to fly on bad weather, then you will be happy cuz you are going home, but probably in a cuffin... the only thing I knowledge was wrong is to let passengers inside for 8 hours doing nothing.

  • you couldve forest gumped it and ran the whole way there..prob wouldve taken less time

  • lol....nice!

  • You should have rented a car and just drove lol

  • He was flying to Sacramento. Renting a car would have been just as costly and taken much longer.

  • True but I think it would have been much less stressful. Road trips are fun

  • and more dangerous. You seem more accidents on the road than you see in the sky.

  • What does Southwest have to do with this. Southwest sucks

  • Once again, Southwest Airlines to the rescue. Copied but never duplicated

  • Am I the only one that noticed that David Neeleman did not say "I'm sorry" in the youtube video. Yes he admitted they were wrong but never said he was sorry. To me this is a sign of "feeling bad he is in this situation" but not really asking forgiveness to the people and public he let down. Perhaps Jet Blue needs to learn another lesson in humility hopefully before the public votes with their feet and jet blue is no more.

  • My fiance is a pilot at Jetblue. It was a mess for everyone including the poor crews that were stuck on the plane and in airports too. Jetblue Ops needs to get their shit together!

  • Maja is right--it wasn't the fault of the crews, but of whoever was "planning" (and I use that word loosely) the airport operations.

  • I agree as well. I know the crew was going through the same thing as we were. My whole distress was about AFTER the incident and how JetBlue disregarded our concerns and made us incur extraneous charges due to their lack of planning.

  • Actually, it was the pilots fault. If the CEO of Jetblue does not give a command, the PILOT does. The pilot is the boss. You dont keep someone in a plane for 8hrs and just saying sorry will make everything better...

  • You're a bumbling idiot. Next time airlines won't bother to appologize sice retards and ungrateful tools like you wouldn't appreciate it anyway.

  • uh, no. when a decision directly impacting the flight's safety needs to be made, the PIC does make that decision. when it comes to corporate scheduling and operations, the pilots of the plane have no say. the flight's safety was not being compromised, so in this case the pilots were completely at the mercy of Corporate.
