This IS a really hard piece to do cause of all the moodchanges. And it is a great try, but just hard to pull of. Keep working and try to get each mood straight, and then work with the transaction.

As a non professional,I would say that this actor is doing a great job,her silence is good,so give her less to say,her eye work is good,so move the camera,her head movement was good,so give her someone to look at,she's pretty,so give her some different light,her voice is velvet,so give her the right accent....basics, an actor is as good as her coach.Get rid of the cameraman,throw away the text,give the director a holiday and let her do it all again naturally....then you'll see what's hidden!

I find it very sad and disturbing that a seasoned actor would come onto youtube and rag on a student actor. It only leads me to believe you have many insecurities yourself and hardly makes you look professional. I would not say it is not up to other actors to judge other people's craft, we should be working from a point of compassion and understanding. We are the only ones who understand the training and journey that actors go through and should be there to support one another, not put one down.

Her eyes aren't convincing, mono tone ,she doesn't listen enough to have her reaction changed and don't tell me all one take , people like to see real acting and people don't mind editing and why you'll make it difficult for the student to act solo , have some one in the other end to respond this would improve the quality of the actor and he doesn't need to put the extra effort for pretending , instead of concentrating on the acting.
