@Scoooobyful Fair. That is a fair claim. The point is that the fetus/baby lives. It is in fact alive; henceforth, killing it or denying the fetus of its life source is murderous. It's worse that the fetus (if allowed) will become a human being, and that's equally as bad. For myself personally, the death penalty is just as bad. To say that the life of anyone is less than that of another is wrong in my eyes. Who are we to judge and say who should live and die? I don't believe it is our place.

As for the language, if you say you're merely terminating an unwanted mass of tissue, so it's okay, you'd better re-think what you're saying. We're all just masses of tissue. We don't have souls. We're just highly evolved animals. So why shouldn't you be considered tissue?
I agree about the specious "rare" thing from pro-choicers. If they believe abortion is a right, why do they want the exercise of it to be rare? Imagine someone saying they believe in the right of free speech, but want its exercise to be "rare." People would look at them like they're nuts. Pro-choicers should want more and more abortion. Maybe some pro-choicer can answer this.
@Inpri This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever read. You have the right to surgery if you want/need it--but I'd like that to be rare. I'd love nothing more than for every single pregnancy in the world to be wanted, safe, and planned. Never going to happen. Reproductive choice is a right in all its forms. Abortion isn't something fun and awesome that people just do, and with comprehensive sexed the rates go down. As a pro-choice person, that's fantastic: prevention and education first.
@Inpri We don't want women to be put in a situation where they have an unwanted pregnancy. THAT's what we're hoping to be rare. But, if a woman does become pregnant with an unwanted fetus, she should be allowed to CHOOSE whether or not she can get an abortion.
