He is a five star prospect according to every credible site with rankings of upcoming classes, that means they think he has NBA talent. For example ESPN.com has him ranked eight and rivals has him at thirteen. So you havent seen this game play actual games only this 1:23 highlight. So keep your opinions about his future to yourselves becuase you have only had a sample of Will Barton. Wait till him and Memphis are back at the dance he will be a top twenty pick in the 2011 NBA draft.
to be honest, this kid doesn't impress me. I follow hs basketball faithfully every year since '05. i know the in outs about prospects, aau, team rankings, the whole 9 yards. and i've got to say, this kid is top five one of the most OVERATED players in the last decade. i've seen him in action in aau when his team played florida elite here in florida, and he only scored 9 points.... i'm not hating, its just my opinion. he didnt even academically qualify for memphis and now has to go the c.c route.

He Might Not Be As Flashy As John Wall Or Brandon Jennings But He Scores The Basketball. Don't Knock Him Cuz He Has A Different Style Of Play. The Only Flaw I See Is That He Doesnt Have Enough Weight..He's Doing Sumthin Right If Memphis Wanted Him.
Has athleticism and length but...not that great of footwork, needs to hit the weight room, i'm sure his jump shot needs a lot of work, he will have a hard time finding a right position to play in D1 ball. But with enough development this kid can become a pretty decent college player and maybe get drafted is he's lucky.

this kid is the real deal. he has dominated high school, the spring & summer circuit, camps, and the global games. he is a top 5 ranked kid nationally & the #1 sg in the country. he is a great kid, good teammate, winner, compettive, scorer, passer, rebonder, defender, and plays hard all the time. yes he needs to get stronger but every player has something to work on. he is going to be great. memphis got a steal

Has athleticism and length but...not that great of footwork, needs to hit the weight room, i'm sure his jump shot needs a lot of work, he will have a hard time finding a right position to play in D1 ball. But with enough development this kid can become a pretty decent college player and maybe get drafted is he's lucky.
