  • Am I the only one linking this to Troy Davis' trial ?

  • Comment removed

  • original music by Ennio Morricone

  • why make a song saluting 2 anarchistic thugs?

  • amazing !!!!!!!!!

    <3 i luv this <3

  • The good thing about this song is that it keeps alive the memory of Sacco & Vanzetti. The problem is that Joan Baez' original version was kind of untouchable.

  • vincent teres in his book my life in the mafia reveals how the payroll guard were killed by mafiosa and exonerates sacco and vancetti who were murdered by a state judge in a fit of 'patriotic' pique

  • Merci Pour ce doux moment de Bonheur...(ALBUM:Hotel Costes Vol IX)

  • Teleio....

  • wow , super , etwas ruhig aber mit now how....

erinnert mich an entspannung pur ... super song zum chill'n

  • ES UNA LASTIMA QUE POR IGNORANTE Y PENDEJO EL PUEBLO DE MI PAIS SE ESTE HUNDIENDO EN EL EXCREMENTO DE LO QUE TE DICE EL GOBIERNO,COMPRANDO CONCIENCIAS CON UNA LIMOSNA Y COMIDA EN MAL ESTADO Y DE DUDOSA PROCEDENCIA,SE VENDIERON BARATO TAL CUAL UNA INFELIZ PROSTITUTA......PREFIERO SEGUIR SIENDO ANARQUISTA Y NO VENDER MI ALMA...LIBRE POR SIEMPRE

  • The Ballad of Sacco and Vanzetti is filled with indescripable beauty! Thank you verris66 and jesbed for giving the song meaning and explanation! This song is amazing!

  • Imádom!!!!!

    És ki szerettette meg velem??

A Fontisok :) Pedig a táncuknak semmi köze a történethez,de ezt nem árulom el senkinek :))

  • Oh, man, this is such bad musical taste, it had to be a DJ fumbling with this originally beautiful tune...why laying hands on music without having any musical culture, you wouldn't go to a surgeon who doesn't know on what side your heart is...

  • sin faltarle el respeto a Ennio esta version esta muy bien lograda great bien bien

  • I wonder if anyone actually knows what the song is supposed to be about.

  • ennio is an icon! the good the great and the greatest!:)

  • Exceptionnel....

  • Me like Bai Dankie!! 5*****

  • Well, this album has really changed my life and that's what I've told Stephane whan he was in Warsaw in Swan Lake and Iguana. We are waiting for you guy here, last album really blowd us up. Come around we'ill have a couple of shots together :)

  • For those who don't know, this is an irresistible Ennio Morricone tune being given a good DJ treatment.

  • 100% agree... a great composer with a nice music taste dj...

  • im working on a bar in a 5 star hotel here in portugal and one of the cd's thats always running is he hotel costes, volume 9, and this one is my faavorite song! Amzing

  • @greatsongs9 that's kind of ironic, that a 5-star hotel is constantly playing an ode to two anarchist revolutionaries. Mind you, that song about El Comandante Ernesto Che Guevara is a staple in the fancy night clubs nowadays too ...

  • what a nice song

  • what a shame!!!! its an anarchist soungs, not a lounge disco pop ambiant yuppy urban look fashion soungs,, what a shame!!!

its the sacco and vanzetti soungs its sacred!

    fuck that

  • you're quite right, and the thing is sad. It's a nice song though.

  • magnifique..

  • anspruchsvolle version, aber es würde zu einem cluburlaub passen.....

  • I like this music ... reminds me on good old gamer days where midi sound was good and graphic was worse :P

  • what is this garbage!? nothing says anarchist like chic overproduced muzak. way to capitalize on something this person obviously knows nothing about. blech....

  • this complet CD is very ok.

............ all Hotel Costes CDs presents realy good Music.

  • Hmmm...Not bad! Beautiful!

  • best song of the cd, looove it!

  • There' s something hipnotizing in this song. I can' t stop to listening it. But I never thinking about lyric, in fact I didn' t realise that is only one verse in it :)

I' m wondering, whos Nicholas and Bart? What is history of that song?

  • Wiki: Ferdinando Nicola Sacco (*April 22, 1891) and Bartolomeo Vanzetti (*June 11, 1888) were two Italian-born laborers and anarchists who were tried, convicted and executed via electrocution on August 23, 1927 in Massachusetts for the 1920 armed robbery and murder of a pay-clerk and a security guard in Braintree, Massachusetts.

Today, the case continues to incite controversy based on questions regarding culpability, the question of the innocence or guilt of Sacco and Vanzetti[...]

  • Those Italian guys! Even their names are sooo...magnetic:-)

  • vraiment sublime...

  • I love this song !!! Where can I find lyrics?

  • typing "The Ballad of Sacco and Vanzetti - Stephane Pompougnac lyrics" in google should do the trick ;)

  • (Note: As a courtesy to all who love this song, and to soleilmag, I added the lyrics at the end of the comment)

An absolutely beauuuuuuuuuuuuuutiful song, goes into the heart and soul. I'm bought ;-) I hear it in a loop here, can't stop. Enjoy!

    Ballad of Sacco and Vanzetti

(Stephane Pompougnac, originally Joan Baez' lyrics)

Here's to you Nicholas and Bart

Rest forever here in our hearts

The last and final moment is yours

    That agony is your triumph!

    (repeated over and over)

  • la megliore canzone su Costes 9!!bravo!:))
