  • This before or after he came out and said that he had Parkinsons?

  • Michael J. Fox is the king of Back to the Future, Family Ties, and Spin City.

  • Thank you for this video, a tear in my eye such a great man and loving family.

  • my favorite actor of ALL time!!!!!!

    loved him since 1985!!!!!

  • Waw... it's like he's not aging or something

  • How old is he?

  • @darkfoot he is 50 now

  • He's drunk?

  • @Nautilus1972 He has PARKINSON'S DECEASE and this were the earlier signs. Now it much worse. I feel sorry for him.

  • @0789seth hes the fountain of youth! hehehee..

  • lol 2+2 wil always be 4 its always the same outcome so to hell with it,i couldnt agree with u more micheal always the same is boring:)

  • I had the biggest crush on him when I was little.

  • i soooo agree with him about the subject of MATH!

I hatedddd math! its my worst subject!

just teach us how to balance a check book, record debit/credit card purchases (everyday shit) and call it a day!

  • Isn't it so easy to identify with Michael J.? It's almost like he's you.

    It's his sincerity.

  • My mom went to the same high school as him. He sat dirrectly in front of her in one class. They were the only two who got high scores in English. She says Back to the Future best depicts his personality in high school. It's so sad what happened to him.

  • Om symbol on MJF's t-shirt...lol

  • i still adore this man, but if i sit for more than 5 mins at a time to watch this interview i can feel the tears coming.

  • I love this guy.. absolute legend.. one of the best actors of all time. He's part of my youth and memories of my teenage years.. I always wanted to be him!! Even with his illness... he is still one of my favourite people of all time.. and the way he talks and expresses himself makes me want to listen to every word with great interest, fascinating to hear him tell his life story. He is still an idol to me.. really great guy.

  • "there's that word again heavy" Is there something wrong with the earth's gravitational pole in the future ^^

  • Out of all the videos on YouTube, why the HELL would you "dislike" this?

  • and he still sounds like when he was 25 years old thats so awesome :)

  • e bravo ma mi dispiace che un attore come micheal abbia lasciato per la malattia che lha colpito lo disse nel 98 che lui stava male addirittura lo aveva dal 91 nessuno lo sapeva ciao

  • This is heavy!

  • I love you always & forever Michael J Fox. Hope you see this :)

  • early onset

  • Will Smith and Michael J. Fox never look any older...

Being AWESOME keeps you young I guess

    =3

  • @TAz69x fuck will smith. why should he matter?!?!

  • @TAz69x U 4got James Lipton, e always looks the exact same age: 92. LOL!!

  • heh, I was born in the same delivery room as Michael.

Sadly I too suffer from a painful neurological disease...

  • It really hurts me that you are sick Michael, i wish i could have the power to heal you Love you always

  • Dear Michael if you ever read this message know how much happy you have made me through my life with your back to the future movie that i still watch, i love you so much and i wish always for you the best, you re such a handsome guy i fell in love with you since the back to the future movie when i was a little child Love you always

  • the whole 2 + 2 - 4 is useless speech should go down in history.

  • Even to this day this an is epic , mike thank you

  • Lol makes me real sad to hear him like this. He was my hero as a kid

  • @incredible916 hes still my hero now.

  • Michael J. Fox = Talented actor

James Lipton = Talented ass kisser

  • the guy asking the questions sounds like a robot with machine gun questions

  • I'll bet that he used to go see movies at the Dolphin on Hastings.

    I love this guy.

  • I loved him 25 years ago..... and I think I love him even more now. Go 'Shaky Dad' xxxxxxx

  • Chuck Norris is going to kick 8 motherfuckers' front teeth out! Poor bastids! Aw well, fuck ya!

  • Wow, his parkingsons got alot worse in the past 5 years.

  • such a shame bout his disease, great actor

  • I love Michael J Fox and everything he does, such an awesome guy

  • the viewer details show that majority of people that view this our men....i'm a woman.....Who else? or is it just me?

  • FACT-------- Michael J Fox is a CANADIAN

  • @sasktank He's a dual citizen actually.

  • @sasktank he's got his american citizenship now

  • @spinct83 doesn't change the fact that hes canadian

  • @tourettesguy2008 i know, i was just saying in case people didn't know that he got an american citizenship

  • @sasktank He has duel citizenship to lobby for funds for parkinson's from the Bush government. I think it was stem cell research.

  • @sasktank Even if he's canadian ; he's still an amazing actor. <3

  • @sasktank ..and so??? :P

  • What is the song?

  • He doesn't look like anyone of his family!

  • @contact1araya He looks like his sister - it's in the forehead and the shape of the eyes.

  • I really don't like James Lipton's style of interview. It sounds more like interrogation.

  • @growthfactor1 lol well if u ever go into a police station to be interrogated, they dont call it an interrogation room anymore they call it an interveiw room. But its funny u say that, James has actually tought Police on how to "Interveiw" lol

  • I just wanna give him a big kiss, he's so lovely :)

  • does James Lipton really move from one question to another like that, with no transition? or is it edited that way

  • @ArsheyHaq Edited, those interviews are hours long

  • @jBo0giePop oh ok, thanks :)

  • @ArsheyHaq yeah for real, if u ever want to see the edit transition, watch the Robin Williams one, theirs so much that during the broadcast, u see it transition to later parts cause its so much. Williams was the only one off the top of my head thats 2 hours, but yeah they interview for 5 hours long, then edit the best into the episode

  • @ArsheyHaq i was always asking myself the same question. i think there's simply not enough time to go through all the questions in detail. i also think that he wants to give the audience a really good overall picture of the guest actor. i often wish, though, he'd go more into details.

  • How come he doesn't age; it's incredible!

  • he looks the same when he de back to furture!!!!

  • I know what it's like for him to go through that disease my grandmother has had it ever since I was little and it's tough but she's able to get through it so I know he is getting through it

  • James Lipton is the oddest interviewer ever.

  • I miss seeing him on the big screen. Even the small screen.

  • This man never ages!!! Always will be cute though ;) hehe he's such a great guy

  • i love what he says about math

  • I just found out a dear friend of mine has Parkinson's. I wish there was a definitive cure for this and all other diseases. Life is hard enough without being ill. When you see Michael J. Fox, it gives you faith and belief in the human spirit. I wish him well and my friend and anyone struggling with disease.

    Thanks for the post.

  • What a great person he is!!!

  • he must be a fucking beast on the guitar

  • I love his philosophy about Maths, so true. Love MJF!

  • @WarriorMigs24

    He is still alive.

  • @WarriorMigs24 He's not dead...

  • I have the same thoughts on math that he does

  • go Michael!!!

  • Mcihael is a timeless actor, especially for all us kids from the 80's. It breaks my heart to see his struggle, but I think he has such a positive attitude, and his advocacy for Stem Cell research and its enhancement and life saving capabilities of millions of people World wide is commendable. I wish they could find a cure in time; regardless, his tireless efforts are appreciated. Thank you Michael! and thank you spinct83 for this upload!

  • Very intelligent guy.

2 + 2 is always 4 (soooo true, never thought of that).

  • No matter whatever comes of him, he is still shining star bright!

  • because of parkinsons.

  • my granda has parkinsons to

  • @StevenC818 mine does too

  • I was an extra in Light of Day.......he is a down 2 earth guy.....a party animal back then but a stand up guy !!!

  • Great philosophy on Math, I hate it tooo

  • I'm not going to write anything sad, 'cause I've heard that Michael doesn't want

    sympathy. And that's understandable.

But I've seen many people get Parkinson's Disease, and what strikes me is that,

by and large, it always happens to the kindest people.

Whether or not there is a medical reason for this, I don't know, but it certainly

    seems to be true.

I'm not saying everyone should be a bastard to avoid it, though...

  • @tepporocks yes i agree it always happens to the kindest people. just recently i found out my friend might be going blind and my grandma has parkinson.

  • I wonder why Canadians are such good actors XD

every time i see 'canadian' in wikipedia, i think back to South Park, 'goddamn canadians!' but in a good way XD

This guy and Jim Carrey are ACE

  • This poor poor man. It always seems to happen to the nicest of people. Him and Ali are two major icons. I think the most sad thing for MJF is that it happened to him so unbelievably young. I bet there are only a handful of cases of diagnosis at such an age. Good luck to you and god bless.

  • I believe we could have a cure for this (and a lot of other diseases)by now if we would have been allowed stem cell research over the last 8 yrs. Bush has put us WAY behind in the fight. It is very funny to me how people are against stuff that doesn't effect THEIR family, and preventing others from finding a cure. Nancy Reagan is in favor of stem cell research,a big time republican, and WHY do you think this is??? Maybe b/c her husband "Ronnie" died from Alzheimer's. Could have been saved.

  • Ross Jones was my English teacher in highschool too. I think he is still teaching.

  • Top notch, bro. Wanna lynch him? I got the ch, just need the lyn. I need your English Teacher's dentures.

  • @bran988 im sorry, are you mocking me or am i not understanding what you say?

  • nah im not mocking you, just playing around. I like the Foxx, and I was just hoping for a little back and forth, a little jaunty, humorous exchange, if you will.

The only people who I will openly mock are those who have/support anything in relation to Bill *theSnakeofEden* O'reilly. I hate that guy. i know this is out there, but I have a strong (muscular) feeling that he has B.O. reminiscent of... Odor Elitist societies erey'whur!

  • God i love Michael J Fox sooooo much. i hate the way Hollywood pushes people aside who become ill......... Hollywood should be punished

  • Had a neighbor with Parkison's who went through SCC International (407) 610-4248 who coordinated a medical evaluation by an Asian doctor. They had to travel to an overseas treatment center, but their condition totally REVERSED. it was incredible.

  • You´re a cool man Michael!

  • i love the back to the future trilogy. thank you michael.

  • That sign thats on his T-Shirt is from Hindu religion..its pronounced as OM (altogether not O, M).....Its a sign of one of the Hindu Gods called Shanker.....God Bless him......

  • @masterkombat are you from India? its better written as AUM..

  • It's better written as AUM for pronounciation but visually, I think it looks better as OM. My fiance is Indian and he writes it as OM. Still, you are right that to avoid confusion on how to say it, AUM is more effective.

  • The cure of Parkinsons is just around the corner. Some new bacterial injection they use to stimulate the production of dopamine in the brain.

  • Michael, em algum lugar, voce será recompensado pelo seu ato de bravura e disprendimento! Sua causa é nobre e por isso

DEUS está operando um milagre através de voce!

Um forte abraço aqui do Brasil !!

  • its called parkinsons disease dumb ass Michael J Fox is awesome

  • @savemyplaylist bullshit

  • hahaha awesome

  • he fought through this disease. He's just awesome.

  • His sister is shy xD

Michael is cool. One of my fave actors.

  • Michael J. fox is the king of the 80's celebrity. And he still remains!!!

  • the guys a legend

  • Creationist..

  • he really is in control of his movement in this interview. compared to more recent ones.

    i love him.

  • @mychemicalapparatus No disrespect to MJF, I love him but he is in control in this interview b/c of his meds. When he spoke in front of congress a few years ago, he didn't take his meds so they could see firsthand the effects of his terrible disease .I have heard him speak about how if he takes the meds, his symptoms are greatly improved. I just wish we were not 8 yrs behind in the research due to bush and his ban on stem cell research. We might have a cure by now if it wasn't for that.

  • I know that you shouldn't focus on the disease, and I rarely do but I watched my grandmother get sick, struggle and pass away because of Parkinsons and it's not the pain that hurts the most to see. It's seeing this person that you love get trapped in this body they can't control.

  • @DontBotherTETRiS does MJ.F have parkinsons then?.... poor guy...

  • @cejason Yes, Michael J Fox has parkinsons. He seems to be suffering from small symptoms here

  • @DontBotherTETRiS I know exactly what you mean, its tough, real tough,

  • @DontBotherTETRiS Last week I lost my grandmother to Parkinson's... I agree with you 100%, and sincerely send you my sympathy. It was very tough for me, as it was for you. Who knows... maybe your grandmother and mine are chilling together in the afterlife :)

  • You can see in his eyes that he's extremely intelligent, there's something about him that's very pleasant.

  • I grew up with his movies, funny how he always looks the same age.

  • @coffee396 Sounds the same too.

  • I like his Omkar shirt. I have the same tattoo

  • I adore M.J Fox and this interview was great...

  • @MrTrixter311

I do not wish harm on anyone, but after that comment you deserve to have the disease of which you laugh at least for a week. Then tell me ..

  • I love him.

  • damn! michaels sis really resembles him

  • He has more balls than these two douchebags MrTrixter and Shehdinger will ever have. Go Mike...

  • He is alive and strong, his mother shouldn't feel sorry at all, she should be proud to have such a successful man as a son

  • @GuhBukSan She doesn't feel sorry it probably hurts to see your son not be able to do what he loved so much because of a illness, seeing him talk about his great movies and how much fun he had must hurt her.

  • i feel sorry for your sick soul....

  • he is the one of my favs actors :(

  • I don't feel sorry because he IS a great man and he is a great man NOW.

  • back to the feature 1-2-3

  • Hockey #1 sport ever

  • the reason john mayer is now a famous singer and a guitar player is Michael J Fox

  • he looks like my dad.. well my dad looks like him.

  • While watching this I feel great great sorrow because I remember him in 'Back to the future' and he was so young there.. and now I see him..24 years later, older and he has Parkinson desease.. it's really sad.. he's a brilliant actor.

  • Eres mi Idolo Michael, que guapo siguesss

  • that math comment is soooooo funny love it :)

  • God he looks and sounds wonderful! Favourite quotes from this: '2 + 2 always equals 4... to hell with it.' 'You're weird, it's good that you're weird... I'm going to encourage it.' Love his personality. Thanks for posting this.

  • so bittersweeet he has so much to teach us, yet the ones who really need to hear will never understand what he has to say in all its complicity/simplicity everytime i c him he always dazzles n brings tears not bcause of his condition, but bcause of the insight his condition has given him on life,

  • he has been able to accept because he understands that this condition doesnt belong to him, but his body, n when he dies he will be released from this prison which so many hold to b dear but is empty n has no meaning

  • he looks exactly the same as he did when he was about 20! lol

  • I love you Michael!!!

    Que El Eterno te acompane

  • im gna tell my maths teacher that 2 plus 2 thing, genius.

  • he's amazing

  • I love Michael, he grew up in Burnaby in the same neighborhood as my cousins and they had nothing but great things to say about him and his family, just a down to earth nice guy. god bless you Michael for your courage and humor.

  • The best

  • I read his book a couple years ago. It was very touching and funny at times. Informative and honest. What a great person, with such a great and giving, approachable personality. The world, even the world who didn't grow up with him, will always love him.

  • I have ordered both his books online. I'm looking forward to read them :)

  • i love him... he is one of top 10 actors of all times.
