Uplifter is a groovy, laid back album. It is more focused than Don't Tread on Me. I do really like it and it is better to listen on a summer day. Embrace it.

Worst album my ass. From Chaos and Sound System are the worst. But...still good. This is their best effort since Transistor. Yeah I said it. Transistor! I am not saying it sounds anything like Transistor though so do not miss-interpret.

Uplifter was well written, well performed, well recorded and just an all around good album. It made me a 311 fan again after "Don't Tread On Me", which wasn't that bad, I just could'nt buy them as a "don't fuck with me cuz i'll knock you down" type band when most their shit is super-positive. They went back to simple but catchy melodies and still didn't (as if they ever did) succumb what's hot now. I do however wish they would try a new direction with the romantic/amber formula on the softys.

If your going to review a album why dont you go over all the tracks and how they add up to the there songs from the past. I am not bashing you. At least you made a video to review a album. I dont see any structure though.

hey man this album isnt that bad dude i would give it a 8.78. Also idk i actually like their new work quite a bit. But my favorite ablum is soundsystem but i cannot pick a favorrite song.  I love them so much i have a few 311 tattoos but not their 311 logo im not that un original

at least on Uplifter you can identify the band...unlike DTOM. What a load of crap that was.

Hardly. It's not that the album is any good or not (in my opinion, it is) or that I even disagree with your opinion (which I do). It's that you give terrible album reviews. You don't talk about the different tracks or anything about the actual music, you just give some lame-ass dialogue on how it compares to other albums.

Well, if you are going to claim to be an album reviewer, I'd like something helpful about the album if I am going to watch it.

I searched for videos from the Uplifter album and ran across your "review". Trust me, I wasn't looking for it.

I don't do album reviews, nor do I claim to. If I wanted attention on the internet I'd open a blog and post videos about something that I am good at like shooting handguns or rebuilding an engine, and I guarantee that it would be better than your "review".
