Well my first comment didn't go through so I'll repost it.

Asking cgl was a sound idea, a good variety of cosplayers are there, newbies and versed ones, grumpy and helpful ones, you get the idea. But odds are most of them would be too lazy to help. Well at least you got Maguma, one of the nicest guys in the community, he'll be a good source of info. You'll probably get better responses if you ask Coscom or CosplayLab since youtube isn't the most reliable of sites.

Oh and a tip, really one week isn't enough time to have a sterling documentary prepared, it wouldn't hurt to extend the deadline by even just a bit or just remove the deadline all together and upload it when you think its perfect.
