  • Robert Plant pwnz Led Zeppelin forever!!!

  • This song just that sound that gets ya! Old School!!

  • It;s a great song and you can break dance to it.

  • Always liked this song yet was not a heavy Led Zeppelin fan. Something about this song just grabbed me.....especially as he gets into the end and says" I'm in the mood......"

  • @TheSicilianSisters I actually like him by himself better I was like u not a big Led Zepplin fan but, him great! Not bad too look at either if you're my age!!!

  • I'm in the mood for a big dick up my arse!

  • only 66 Thousand hits - this song is EPIC!

  • I guess after Zeppelin broke up, Robert Plant dropped everything and went completely generic

  • Four people need to burn one and give another listen......

  • On the "softer" songs of Led Zeppelin, see also the famous "Going to California", and certainly, "Tangerine". - John L.

  • @JohnGLewis1964 I understand Led Zeppelin perfectly well thanks. Granted Led Zeppelin wouldn't have been Led Zeppelin without him but Robert Plant was, in my opinion, the most obnoxious member of the band. I know all of Zeppelin's recorded songs and love all but maybe one or two of them. This is just empty.

  • @BillThrills321 With all respect to Robert... I suppose that he may have been one of the more personally forceful members of the band, Led Zeppelin, yes. In this negative, selfish, light, he reminds me of myself.

Generally when a great band splits up, the quality of the music (of the individual members) does go down.... But I don't see why you so dislike this song ("It's empty")... I think it is a reasonably pleasant, harmless song.

So how do you like, then, "Heaven knows." ?

  • Maybe M.J. got his idea for moon walking from this video?

  • If you don't like it, turn it off. You can also change a radio or T V channel, Move to someting you like, This is the U S A.I am 65 (the new 45) been there: Done that. Rick

  • I don't care what anyone says, this song rules. Don't be so damn moody. See what i did there?

  • Bonzo is rolling in his grave, but it was the 80's

  • the guy with the football Cardinals hat still puzzles me LOL

  • i am in the mood for a retro kitchen with hot blondes in them

i am in the mood 1:28

  • This is an all time low for Robert Plant. This would have to be a song I NEVER thought that he would sing.Absolutely awful !!

  • John Bonham would take this drummer and throw him through a window if he were alive... And where is John Paul Jones? And Jimmy? What is this...

  • @BillThrills321 Its called 'moving on'.

  • @FunWithFlipCam You mean to dubshit? These are great lyrics. Plant has always been annoying...

  • @BillThrills321 Zeppelin always had an abiding interest in "softer" songs and melodies. They even did a revision of one on their very first album... and I forgot the title of the song, but it was the best (song) on the album...(!)

So I believe you are incorrect; you don't understand Led Zeppelin very well. See "Thank You"; "All my Love", even the "Rain Song" (and featured on Robert's video the group put out in a movie compilation, 1975).

Sorry, I am not so up to date - it's been 10 years

  • OMG I wanna be 16 again and cruzin around summer night w/ my boyfriend and not care about a F**Kin thang!

  • Robert Plant eh.What a fabulous singer and performer he has been for decades.

    One of the legends.

    4 thumbs down!!.Get a hearing aid

    regards

    Johnny Shamrock

  • I'm Dazed and Confused While I watching In The Mood as I smoke this Big Log

  • @SBS101Proof might wanna say big tree, sounds like your gay when you put it the way you did...or maybe thats what you were going for idk. just lookin out

  • @5grimmy ....nah more of a pot refrence

  • @SBS101Proof haha yeah i know, smokin a tree's better for that though...smokin a log sounds to gay, i know what u meant

  • robert plant is da man . definelty a different sound from the late 60;s , 70's and 80's when he was with led zeplin

  • i get tired of how awesome robert plant is

  • what the hell was robert plant thinking with that mullet

  • @Joseph66678.......lmao what were any of us thinking.........they had mullet styles for women too........and the hairdressers did it to you whether you wanted it or not............

  • 4 people aren't in the mood.

  • oh those 80's...i miss em

  • The song is based on the classic Glenn Miller tune "In the Mood".

  • led zeppelin 4 life robert plant jimmy page 4 life

  • Phil Collins behind the kit...love it!

  • a cool easy vibe for anytime. Just inhale and breath out.

  • This video is so 80's. I LOVE IT!

  • I gotta basketbal jones. ? ! ?

  • What a terrible video. I'm embarrassed for it.

  • @bhertzbe When it came out in '83 it was fine. Music videos per se were only a few years old then.

  • Awesome song

  • i feel like smoking one every time i hear this song

  • Love Me Some Robert Plant........

  • I'm in the Melody .... I'm in the Mood

  • This song has a cashmere feel to it. Feels like a 4:20pm song.

  • Comment removed

  • Thumbs up if you were expecting the chicken clucking song from the 40s.

  • What a shame that Led Zeppelin broke up.

  • @ddbarnes11 Well not really if John Bonhman's untimley death hadn't happened in 1980 they'd still be together

  • Phil Collins' drumming on this song is superb.....love those warm synths as well...Plant's best solo work....

  • The very first time I tripped acid... I was at a concert and got hooked up with a puddle in my palm before I went in. Easily one of the most memorable experiences of my life, just chaotic. Insanity in motion. When my friend and I left, we hopped in the car and turned on the radio. This song was just coming on. I swear to God, it was the most surreal moment i have ever experienced. I NEEDED this song. As if I didn't love Robert Plan enough already. I know you won't read this, but thank you

  • the synth and guitar are awesome on this song!!!!! thanks for posting this!

  • phil collins on drums=tightness

  • Love this cd! other arms, horizontal departure!! my favorite cd from plants solo career!!

  • haile321, you found this song. I am 47 and know Led Zeppelin/Robert Plant very well.

  • God, I remember loving this song when mtv was young! Still love it. I have the CD!

  • I heard this song on the radio yesterday and was like "That sounds like Robert Plant, but that's DEFINITELY not Zeppelin..." Thanks to Google and Wikipedia now I know :)

  • how could you not like this song

  • Robert Plant ROCKS !

  • What on earth is NOT to like about this song? Robert Plant is amazing!

  • Makes me want to spark a doob and lay in the sun....What's with the pop-locking, though? LOL

  • Wow! look Robert Plant... he is over 70 years now.

This guy is really an important icon to the rock music

  • @CaptainScarlet2006 Nope...He's 63 today

  • @sbhoselover

63,wow! i see him recently and looks older.

  • @CaptainScarlet2006 he stopped drinking babies blood.... ;)

  • @yurianne07

    What?

  • @CaptainScarlet2006 robert plant's secret antiaging sauce... or is the gene simmons?...

  • Great Pepsi product placement .

  • 3:53 for the winnnnnnnnnnn

  • such a chill song... so soft and catchy. i love it.

  • Beauty!

  • Man, I love this song.

  • Roberts golden period..82-88...he seamlessly fitted into the 80's on natural talent...then from fuckin 89 onwrds i dont know wtf happened to him...i think Page couldnt move on and progress like Robert and in actual fact dragged him backwards with all that Unledded shit and so forth....F***...Robert had moved on quite successfully and then Page interfered...asshole dinosaur.

  • led zepplin is amazing, but this... i dont know, i just prefer led zepplin.

  • @GraceLondonMusic

I saw him in Houston back when this was a new song ...Pictures at Eleven tour,,,, best concert ever

The show starded with this song

Phil Collins on drums..The whole place was stoned and WE WERE IN THE MOOD!!!!!!!!!

  • @GraceLondonMusic

Well,is the fashion of the 80's

  • I absolutely love this damn song!! They definately do make music like they use too!

  • I'm completely used to seeing his Led Zeppelin look... But what a great look transitioning into the '80s!

  • Calm..yes, serene..most definitely..but also one of the darkest, loneliest pieces ever written. RP had lost a son a friend and had for years laid to rest his talent while he underwent a devestating depresion. This was his return, and wow what a return. RP is the firstborn of rock and the prodical son wrapped in one. Simply magical.

  • U cant ask for a more better song than this. Its so peaceful and tranquil. It makes me happy n puts me n a good mood instantly. <3 It :)

  • My best memory of this song. We were sittin in a huge dome in Seattle waitin for the Floyd laser show to start and they had this playin on Huge PA as people come in. It took me to another world, Oh my......

  • This song was in heavy rotation on Mtv back in the day. Its performers and talent kept feeding Mtv.

Then sadly, the mid 90's hit and the talent pool started getting shallow. We had an onslaught of manufactured boy bands and ex-mousekateers flooding the market.

Mtv couldn't justify propping up the bad talent and was forced to give us the birth of Reality Tv.

I believe thats why MTV has stuck with that format. Todays talent (cough cough) doesnt have the depth or substance to justify a video ch

  • Heard this on the radio the other day, first time in years. I cranked it up as load as it would go.

  • I love you Roberrt Plant always

  • makes me thing about yesterday.... :)

  • thank's for posting , i was looking for this one . i remenber a tv show in with this song came and i love it.

  • I love, love, love his look in the 80's! I would just like to run my hands through those soft tresses of curls. Oooh, YUM!

  • My dad had this song on a tape when I was a kid but I never knew who sang it. Eventually the tape got destroyed and I researched this for years...which is really hard when you only know the melody. I heard it about a year on the radio. Im 25 now so after about 15 years of trying to find this song, I feel like I have really accomplished something.

  • @haile3211985 that would be especially frustrating given that so much of this song's melody is one note! (not busting on the song here - it's totally cool actually)

  • @haile3211985

i still have this casette tape and what thrills me is my 19 yr old daughter likes this song now....

  • @haile3211985 one of my favourite songs on the album and was released as a single which I bought and still have 12" superb song possibly my favourite on the album which had Big Log on it...simply exquisite and beautiful song...blessings to you and your Dad :)

  • @haile3211985 Its a sort of syth song with almost nashville like western guitar backing. These guys in that era had to play for decades before they earned the right to produce. You would never have songs like this today. Plant had been through a whole evolution of sounds from 1969 through 1983..20 years of playing. This was his lay down low album. I might be inbetween your dad and you. Some dude played this for me when I was 16 years old in his college dorm. That made me want to go to college.

  • @haile3211985 Its a sort of syth song with almost nashville like western guitar backing. These guys in that era had to play for decades before they earned the right to produce. Plant had played from about 69 through 83 with a lot of material. This was more his let down body of work. I had some dude play this for me as a freshman in college the first day. I was hooked on it. .

  • @haile3211985 I also spend a handful of my spare time looking for songs my dad had on cassette and vinyl.. So I feel your pain! lol.. One song I had a heck of a time finding was "No Quarter" by Led Zep.. That one took me about 10 years.. and oodles of Robert Plant and Led Zep songs to sift through! So kudos to you!!

  • @haile3211985 I had almost the same experience. I never had a tape to listen to it on though. I heard it on the radio VERY rarely. I knew that it was Robert Plant that was singing it. I just knew it. So after buying every Zeppelin album I was depressed not to have found it. Until 3 years ago, I'm 28 now BTW, a friends mom gave me all her old records. This album was amongst them. Along with The Firm (both albums) some VH, Stones, and Kinks albums. And Rush's Moving pictures. A GOLD MINE!!

  • @haile3211985 ...haile...I'll up one for you...in my family, we call it scoreboarding each other.... I'm prob your dad's age...as I'm 45 yrs young. Zeppelin has a song called Hey Hey What Can I Do...plz ask your dad what Album (not including ANY greatest hits, CODA, etc) was it on? If your dad knows that it was not on any original LZ album, he's right...it was the B side of 45 speed record...the A side was Immigrant song...does that make any sense to you?

  • epic...............

  • just woke up from a anap and i HAD to hear this. thanks for posting!

  • Robert Plants sets the trend when it comes to great music. This is a superb example of an unusually beautiful and relaxing song. Indeed , it sets the "mood". It is both soothing and comforting.

  • A greatest song!!! Robert Plant is a true master musician.

  • my god, he went from zeppelin to this. Did he get dementia or something? This is terrible.

  • @maxdamagus You, my friend, are a dick.

  • I have to agree This is my All time Favorite song gets me in the mood Awesome LOVE IT

  • Rockin!!

  • A classic video from the "real MTV era" of music!!

  • My favorite Robert Plant track , Cool Groove

  • definately a good groove...thanks for posting..

  • My favorite solo Robert Plant song. Really cool track.I love the simple guitar chords, and the synthesizers. This song (and video) has a laid back cool vibe that always makes me feel good whenever I hear it.

  • why ist der mexican girl's house empty?... go popperz!!!...

  • @yurianne07 Good question. Perhaps it's a take on 'Gone with the Wind'? She's waiting for her Rhet Butler to return?
