I ask because I too am in NoHo and when coming back from work I saw 3 lights in the sky around 6:30 p.m. Upon close inspection I quickly realized what I was looking at was 3 Chinese lanterns but what I'm wondering is, is this part of the same exercise OR was what I saw a cover for a legitimate event.

Don't you people think it is a little weird that aliens fly by in our atmosphere basically on a daily basis? It's like we're the parking lot of the nearest galactic version of a MacDo. Sure i believe in alien life, sure i believe that some have technology that to us would seem like magic, but i doubt we would be so interesting to them they would stick around for (at least) decades, flying by, always concealed but never concealed enough. Just a thought.

When they reach a high enough altitude, the air pressure outside the balloon becomes less than the air pressure inside the balloon, and this causes the balloon to slightly expand. Latex balloons actually have microscopic pores and the helium escapes. Mylar balloons will leak out of the microscopic leaks in the nozzle. This causes the balloon to lose pressure, and altitude, and float back down to Earth before it pops.

Nice sighting....the Lights are slowly rotating...so hard to say that its a reflection of something in the windshield... amazing... would have been nice if you would have moved the camera around so we can see a reference of the area..and where your shooting from..and no window or windshield.  but amazing sighting if true
