Micro preemie Molly from one pound at birth to healthy toddler

my daughter was born 5/4/2010 at 25wks 2d 1 pound 6.9 ounces and we lived in nicu for 4 months to the day. Today my daughter is just about to start walking. she has had no medical problems other than CLD. which looks fine so far. no PDA, VSD, ROP, feeding issues or brain bleeds. she is a true blessing. thank you KAISER San Diego Medical ctr.

Thanks for postin this video... mi baby boy was born at 26 weeks 1 pound 14 oz. we spent 95 weeks at the NICU and now he's turning 1 year in 12 days!!! :) And he's doing well he's also a fighter!! :) Good luck!!!

My cousin just had her baby at 26 wks of conception..and the baby is currently at the Nicu...in critical condition...all we can do is pray and hope everything will be ok...thank u for posting this video it gives me hope and im glad ur daughter is such a blessing to ur lives.

my little angel Delanie Keiara was born 1 pound 7 ounces 16 weeks premature and is currently in the Nicu. I have so much hope for my little fighter and i cant wait to take her home.

I hope Delanie is doing well. There are many, many babies who have good outcomes, regardless of what the internet research or statistics tell you. Molly is now almost 3 and she has no delays or physical issues whatsoever. I think the worse outcomes get posted more on the internet because the babies who do fine go on with their lives and the parents don't think to blog about them.
