excellent,a visiting train from across the pond :-),
good luck,i don`t know much about US trains, but i love the Pere Marquette 1225 (used in the Polar express film),i bought a G scale model from Lionel awhile back, it was such a heavy large model,
this is garrett just a few things A. u sound like ale pachino as the godfather the accent dosnt suit the loco and secondly pennsy rules lol and last bunt not least next time set the scene when u begine as well as tell the audeunce what the storys about as well as the railroad in question i know i took drama for two years
Good question. I left that out because if he were to become a character modelled into the series, the BR Series crew would have to find and HO or OO model of a New York Central Hudson. And I don't want to create a lot of restrictions.
He would probably be a non-streamlined J1E or J3A.
#5344 was streamlined to be Commadore Vanderbilt from 1934-1945. It was the first streamlined American steam locomotive, possibly the first streamlined steam locomotive in the entire world.
I'm also i the contest, and i have to say that this is one awesomely epic entry. Good Luck laddy! (just wanted to say laddy because I like speaking irish sometimes)
Thank You! The New York Central called them "Hudsons" (which became the basic name for the 4-6-4 wheel arrangement) because one area they ran in was the Hudson Valley of New York.
I gave him the name "Henry" because of Henry Hudson, the Englishman who founded the present-day state of New York.

I'm glad you like my entry as well!;)
Ever since the Polar Express movie came out 5 years ago, the Pere Marquette #1225 is being unofficially called the "Christmas Engine."

I don't think the J1Es were ever streamlined.

I like the accent you gave to him mate. Very very good and it would be nice to see an american engine in the BRWS. Good luck mate

Al of the NYC Hudsons were scrapped in 1957 and the British Railway series has already reached 1959.
