hyundai has come a long way from the late 1980's when their cars were a joke. Since 2005, their cars have been more reliable. Although most public still think of unreliability when they think Hyundai. Their design has been much improved because all their designs seem to be all done in Germany and USA, thank god. But their manufactering is still Korean. Perception is still that it is not as good as Japanese especially Toyota, Honda or Nissan. Japanese are worried though.
