What's the point of doing all this to/with an FSD? All thats actually being done here is a bunch of cocky guys are "winching" or literally "dragging" a large farm & ranch truck thru a rock quarry. Then the weird part is the guys are "getting off" on some oversize wheel clearance issues, a broken steering part and some body scratches. Hell that can be done with a Kenworth. Total waste of time...
What's the point of you sitting on your computer watching youtube videos. All thats being done here is some retard watching and commenting on videos on his computer. The weird thing is you getting of by saying ha I don't do that it's dumb. Hell your spending your time much better.
the point in watching this is for becoming further educated in the art of badass offroading. we all like to watch offroading and to participate in offroading!! this might as well be an in depth guide to the motorsport!
Most of you probably aren't aware of this, but the truck was running 4.56 gears at the time because the 5.38's they wanted were not yet available. Considering the 46" tires, the truck was at a serious disadvantage. Also, as stated in the video, the truck had ZERO test miles before it hit some very serious trails. Anyone that's actually built a rig knows that the first several times out are usually going to end in further modifications and/or repairs.
@jav7227 yep take it and break it then upgrade it I wish they'd make a tuned in video after that guy relaxes and adds a couple inches of lift with some king coil overs maybe 2 inch smaller tires for better up travel and articulation to keep him level over the rocks.. That thing will be sweeet
You guys running your mounths about Jeeps are completely missing the point of this vehicle. It was designed to be a do-anything truck, hence the name "Ultimate Super Duty." It is obviously too heavy and too long to compete with mid size pickups and Jeeps with small blocks on the rocks, but it can pull your rock buggies to the trail and then drive in after them when they break down and thatin itself is very impressive.
first ever superduty o've seen like this, man does it look sweet. cool thing about it tho is even tho it got all beat up, i bet they could still sell it for like 20 grand!!! sweet truck.
posion spyder didnt build any part of this truck. its actually a pretty sweet daily driver now. after all this stuff went down. the swapped out for 40x15.5-20 toyo mt's. a different exhaust and a much lighter nicer looking tube prerunner front bumper. but none the less. it can tow anything. make it thru most anything, and what ever it cant. thats what the winch is for right? :)
i'd like to see more trucks like this. learn from your mistakes and build a better truck, then take it out and embarrass all those jeeps out there. (no offense to you jeep guys... i'm just a fan of innovation- and superduties)
everybody's got a jeep with an sbc swapped in... if you got money, and are bent on using an sbc anyway, at least build an EFI or propane fueled stroker... more interesting engines are AMC 360s or 401s, mopar 360s or Ford 351s or even 302s. that said, building a big truck, and abusing it on the trail is cool
anyone can wheel a jeep or a toyota. takes some skill to navigate a fullsize

Most likely because youre a hick and can't see what this hunk o' shit is really used for. Towing your moble home when you get evicted.

why are you so stupid?
AnthraX357M 3 years ago 5
Im stupid? How about the idiots that took a 50k vehicle and turned it into a piece of shit? A rubicon on 33's could have run that trail.
bucksatan1 3 years ago
I think its a cool truck. They didnt have to pay for any of it. Let em build it and beat on it. Whole point of 4wheeling. Do it your own way.
Rdwwyo 4 years ago
if u have that much money....just get a jeep....much more able to flex....nd hen just drop a 350 in it
