No, I was actually playing off of a quote from the movie Pulp Fiction. If you really want to know, it's your sentence structure as a whole. It's just obvious that it's not your first language based on the way you write. I'm sure people usually understand the point you are trying to make.
@vnmous93cobra , it's because I have no any experience of living in USA or GB, or another english-speaking country. By the way, I like the Pulp Fiction movie too :)
Yup, Great Bike, have done burn outs (wet & dry (on slick hangar floor)). But I burned my clutch out @ 50K (lot of MSF teaching and slow-bike gaming/riding). Looking forward to the 6Cyl version!
What is the song called at the end of this video? I'm looking my ass off and repeated it for at least a 100 times but still couldn't find something on google
I can't tell you how much I appreciate your ultrasuperfast reaction! Now I can go to bed peacefully, but not without playing the song on max volume for at least 5 times. Thanks! My neighbours enjoyed it by knocking on the ceiling, at least I hope so, if not bad luck for them ;-)
Alternative methods? Ya, it's called practice. A seasoned rider could burn wet tires on a scooter. Besides, what is the point of all this? The beemer does what it's designed to do - go on long tours quick and comfy and look good doing it. If you want to impress the press buy a busa or v-max!
Obviously you failed to READ the comments below yours. People like you were the reason for making the video. That, and entertaining the K1200LT forum, I just needed somewhere to host it. The owners last bike was a busa. He's been riding/racing for 20+ years, no practice needed. These bikes will not do burnouts, even in water.... due to the proportional braking system they have, practice isn't going to overcome that, it will just fry the clutch. Yes alternative....water doesn't work....
Hey, dudes, this bike not for donuts & burnouts.... You are just like stupid kids :)

Haha, no problem

I think that have no sense to do it with a sport bike... with a tourer laike K1200LT is totally stupid.
If someone like to do it, I hope to never happen near my bike...

Thanks for your opinion.

I got one and your right, a good rider can get his bike to do anything. I did a burnout , dry/dry.
timjamesmackenzie 2 years ago
Congrats, did you replace your clutch yet? Supposedly these bikes can't handle a little fun time.
vnmous93cobra 2 years ago
yup, slightly below life expectancy, nothing remarkable.

This one still has the stocker, I think it has around 25k miles on it now.

Great touring bike, dumb touring video
kiwijewel007 3 years ago
Very true, it's not a touring video at all. If it were, it would be a dumb one.

I was about to say this & read your text.
A burn out can't be done because of the proportional break system, ie front & back wwork together.
Must add though that its such a contribution to the super stopping qualities of the brakes on this bike :-)

Yeah, it's an awesome machine for sure.

Lol thats sick
LazyBoi19 3 years ago
Thanks. It's my friends bike. He was told it wouldn't do a burnout due to the braking system. We just had to find out :).
