this is how i did it. i thought the whole test cahmber was just a mind game making you think you had to do things you didnt and all you had to do was think out of the box. after having seen how its actually done i might have been more sympathetic when i tossed good ol c cube into the incinerator. got portal for free in a special,(thank you valve), and started and completed it last night in three hours. i ♥ ■ puzzles, no pun intended. for science!!!... and the people who are still alive...

My method is on the PS3 and I spawn regular cubes to climb up instead of using those cameras or whatever from the room. But this way isn't cheating. Good job!

@stuffiscoolandstuff Yeah, I cheated, and I clearly said that. I said I spawn regular cubes but THIS WAY (meaning how he did it in the video) is cheating. No proof? Come on... you know there is a cheat code to spawn cubes, so why in the world would you question it? And it's on the PS3, yeah... no one cares? @warlord90210 the way he did in the video is not cheating because if you bothered to read the forums(that your not allowed on) you would know that finishing a test chamber in the late stages of the game are not meant to be linear AKA you can finish it in anyway without it being called cheating as long as you didnt use console commands.

Although the euthanisation process is remarkably painful, 8/10 Aperture Science engineers believe that the Companion Cube is incapable of feeling much pain.

Could someone please explain to me why destroying the companion cube is such a big deal? Youtubers are sad, and Game Informer ranked it's destruction as the #4 gaming moment of 2007. Yet all I see in this vid is you using a box to block damage and to hop ontop of platforms. I'm sorry, but I just don't understand why this was a big deal to so many people. All I see is a box used to get through a short stage.

no, it cant talk, that is, like it said about the symptoms. if the body is put under enough stress, it could highten(sp) your senses and you could hear thngs that might not usually be heard...
