@Phenixtri Israel is its own nation which makes its own decisions. And contrarily, the USA needs Israel for some weapons tech. Israel has bought fighter planes from the US, modified them, and sold them BACK. It is a mutual relationship with neither side making decisions for the other.

@FailDoctor true on certain levels it is a mutual relationship but the US still retains the ability ti black mail Israel by threatening to withdraw all support thus leaving Israel in a tough position in the long run. The US has always done this with other nations through out its history. Look at some examples in South America & East Asian Island nations. Good examples are the Philippines, Nicaragua, Panama/Columbia, Ecuador, Cuba, Argentina & many others.

And as far as the media said and most of the articles on the internet, the Turkish vessel was unarmed and its purpose was to relieve the civilians.
Now about Palaistine, i dont think that there's much to say apart from what we all know. The whole concept of isolating Palaistine and leave rebels and civilians alike to starve to death is enough for me to stand up against Israel.

there was more then 1 ship in that flotilla,and only the turkish one had those problems on it.if anyone here was provoking its the turkish,who were offered to dock in the port city of ashdod and israel would send theyre cargo to gaza,which they refused.
the blockade started because of the intifada's,and because hamas,a terrorist organisation,took control of the gaza strip.

After World War 2, many nations of the world were reformed. Provinces absorbed by other nations or seperated. What i do not get though is why the turmoil over that area preserves after so much time. When one stops feeding the fire, it eventually burns out.The fact that the UN chose THAT particular area and the continuous hostilities seem too odd.

@nhytgbvfeco2 It was not necessary for the Jewish state to be formed elsewhere. The problem is that when the Jewish state was formed, it split the Palestine region in two and Israel slowly began to assimilate more and more of the Arab territories.
It's just like if Greece claimed back Constantinopole and Asia Minor. As much as it saddens me, we can't just march in there and start kicking the Turks out, even if there was no Turkish army to defend it whatsoever.
