They were an okay couple, but they definitely weren't meant to be. Jake belonged with Jo. Jane was better with Michael. I even thought Jake and Alison were a better pair than he and Jane.

Jane was definitely one of the most developed characters on the whole show. She went through it all. She really should have gotten a deeper nervous breakdown story.
