  • Beleive it or not---but the overcast conditions (can) actually magnify the suns rays...the human eye cannot detect suns UV rays--only the colors of the reaction due to the surface of the pigment of said object....Where the clouds may filter out the illumination of the sun--it can magnify the UV rays...SO---I think that may be a good flashlight regardless...

  • Great test video, thanks! One request: Please {schlick} PLEASE {schlick} don't chew gum {schlick} when {schlick} talking near a {schlick} microphone {mouthbreathschlick}. I admit it's a personal pet peeve. That having been said, it was a good review. Thanks!

  • Just bought one of these today for a trip I'm planning. I have to say, I was as skeptical and as pleasantly surprised as you seemed to be in your video. It definitely felt somewhat cheap with the plastic construction, but (thanks to your video) appears to be very durable. Great review for a good product. Definitely going back to buy another one of these to leave in my car.

  • cool

  • Every one one earth has a can of WD-40!! Im in Mexico and in my tool shed i have 2 cans !!..lol

Well i just went to COSTCO and bought a pair of this flashlghts i hope there as good as in the video, here in mexico paid 279.00 pesos about 25 dlls U.S.

  • i might becareful if i were you though the solar bulb can survive of those impact

  • I have that light, Thanks for testing it!

I do keep it in out so that ambient room light keeps the batteries topped off.

  • Great torture test but you forgot the angry gorilla test like the samsonite luggage commercial, you could have got Mike or Matt in the costume. LOL

  • Excellent review and testing!

  • Now if you drop that thing into hot molten lava, just let it go man, its gone.

  • kewl light.

  • With the small amount of solar cells in that light you are going to have to leave it in the sun for a day or two. Maybe 3... Hours of a hallogen is pretty expensive charging LOL...

  • NO NO NOT H2O BOARDING!!!

  • Poor 'lil flashlite WAT DID IT EVER DO 2 U?

  • ROFL

You can't have torture without waterboarding.

Great video sir. I wouldn't have thought of the freezer. Very nice.

  • Cool info my friend. I would let my headlight from my car hit on it, If i was the woods, and there no sun. 5*

  • I think you need 2 have one of these in your boat! BTW Love your vids man! Keep up the good work!

  • Hey Mr Voodo, just watched your vid and saw something i couldnt quite belive. at 5:37 i could see some cans of WD-40 on the shelf and iam quite curios to see that youve got this stuff overseas. Since i always belived it to be a at least germany based product. Anyway have a good one.

  • Every house in America has a can of WD-40, we can't stand squeaks ;)

  • Hey Red some have two cans! LOL!!

  • I did not know that WD40 was from Germany I have used WD40 my whole life and I am 42 so thats a long time... LOL!!

  • From the Wiki: "WD-40 is the trademark name of a water-displacing spray widely available in a variety of retail outlets. Developed in 1953 by Norm Larsen, founder of the Rocket Chemical Company, San Diego, California. It was originally designed to repel water and prevent corrosion,[1] and later was found to have numerous household uses."

Might be produced in Germany under license. A fine product, whatever the case, as indispensable as duct tape! =^[.]^=

  • Mr. Nye the flashlight guy lol That was really cool.

  • LOL! Thanks Joy!! BTW tell Bill I want 2 see him make a video about how he thinks Obama is doing... :)

  • I will and you might even like it

  • poor flashlight

  • Ohdoctah in the house!

  • aint no way am i doing that to my everready weatherready

  • LOL!!

  • I like Sexy Dancing Girls! LOL!!

  • Well done! I'll buy one soon.

  • Thanks Tony!!

  • Nice piece of gear, MadBad. My main reason for braving CostCo and buying a couple of these (which may happen, now that I've seen this vid) would be to have a flashlight that was independent of batteries. Never know when you might be without batteries (or when there might be a retail shortage), so it seems like a good way to secure peace of mind, as you said.

The mfg really oughtta thank you for this vid. =^[.]^=

  • Thanks man! BTW Keep up the good work!!

  • very cool! i have a mag light that does me good though and when i walk the dogs at night i figure it would make a decent weapon as well ;)

though i like the idea of a solar powered one cause of the damned hurricains

    thats a good price too

    xoexo

  • Mag lights are good 4 putting the smack down when need be! LOL!!

  • damn that thing can take some abuse lol nice video

  • LOL!! You have some cool vids keep up the good work!!

  • thanks man i like urs too lol and dont worry itll take alot for me to quit with the great videos ha ha

  • nice light for the price...cant expect too much, but still impressive...

  • Yes 4 what it is it is impressive and IMO a must have...

  • Nice lite! Beats the Hell outta my shake-lite.

  • I would love 2 see you do a review on the shake lite! BTW that last Car vid of yours was BAD ASS!!

  • Great job on the tests, thats a tough little light. Solor panal chargers that small are pretty slow. What type of battery does the solor-collector charge?

  • I am finished watch every vid you have made in last 3 days and as a fan I wanna see more irl story poor bastards who had tooo watch that from month one :)

Oh and I think that flashlight was shit if it was supposed too charge from just room lights a over cast shouldn't have slowed it down too the point it did not charge at all , now i may be wrong but wouldn't it be smarter just too buy a wind up flash light ?

  • "I wanna see more irl story poor bastards who had tooo watch that from month one :)"

It was agonizing to wait for each next video. Kinda like watching a really good movie ten minutes at a time.Lol!

  • I think about Jan 30th I will get back 2 the Real Life Storys...

  • I think I will buy one of those wind up's and do a side by side...

  • This was better than consumer reports.Great vid.

  • LOL Thanks!

  • LOL! Flashlight watching computer monitor.

  • That's one bad flashlight MadBad.

  • That would be great for on a boat, especially if it comes with a mount to keep the charge panels face up.

  • Yep I think this is a must have 4 your boat...

  • That's what I call a durable flashlight! 5/5!

  • It's not bad 4 the money...

  • Damn you old man....I told you to gimme one and you go ahead and destroy it...

  • LOL!!

  • its been raining in south dakota for 3 weeks....It showed signs of clearing, but i went to our High school football game, and it started raining again..

  • Is it time 2 build an ark? LOL!

  • haha just about, It was rainin hardcore and ever started snowing at the end of september. I was kinda shocked.

But we had our first nice day of the fall season. it even hit 60!...Proof of Global Warming! ;)

  • nice

  • Thanks!

  • Hey madbadvoodoo, I think they actually tested the flashlight in worse condition in test settings before releasing them to the public. Your tests are actually very friendly hehe...

Whoah, lots of meat in your freezer ;)

  • LOL!!

  • five stars
