as much as I like John Farnham - the people saying that he has the same voice that he had 20 years must be delusional. He can no longer hit the high notes that he used to do on a nightly basis. He was at his peak really in the 10 years from 1986 to 1996 and the he started losing the top of his range slowly.

It is sad but of course it is bound to happen but that's why we watch all these old videos to see how amazing he USED to be :)

I've been a fan of John's for about 25 years or so, but that's rare in the US. It's not disrespect for people to like David Archuletta's singing "You're the Voice", John is really just not well-known in the US. John chose to spend the bulk of his career in Australia, so don't get upset with those that don't know him. Once they DO get the chance to hear that phenomenal range, believe me, they will be HOOKED!

I heard John in Aucland at a telethon on the City Waterfront about oh dear at least 16yrs ago. Awesome performer and great to have enjoyed many of his songs over the YEARS !

I would recommend this song as a personal challenge and anthem to be The Voice.
