  • The young Police in action... something to behold for sure... I didn't see them live until 1981... but I count myself so lucky to have been around at that time...

  • Thank you for posting this.

  • I was there, in front of the stage, hypnotized and mesmerized by Stewart Copeland's playing. I was a 14 year old, starting drummer, still looking for a drummer who could be my nr.1 inspirator. Then this concert, me clamped at the stage, Andy at my right, Sting on my left and I'm laser-focussed on this guy behind the drumkit. From that moment, I knew it: Stewart Copeland is exactly playing my style I love so much. I'm 45 years old now, still drumming and my opinion hasn't changed a bit.

  • Nice memories. I am very jealous for that, I wasn't born on 1979:D I couldn't see this band live.I think it was unbelievable experience hearing them live and seeing them young.

  • @aldopeer DAMN. You are so lucky to be born then. I seriously think I was born in the wrong generation. I was born in the 90's and all I have to listen to is this mainstream shit. All mainstream music is shit compared to the police.

  • Oh My God do they rock ... thank you EiDy!
