I think it's great that they released a new toy line for I.J. I never saw them during the 80s. The only thing I don't like about them is the faces. The eyes on many of the figures are in different directions or almost located on the cheeks! Great review. Thanks.

The mutt williams toy from this line goes well with the movie autobots if you get the one without the jacket and take his knife away. I have mine standing with my movie autobots. It's not nearly as nice a figure as this though.

I got to say, I like the 6 inch scale figures, better than the 3 inch. When I was little, I wanted to play with my 3 inch toys, and my 6 inch tall toy together, But they just looked stupid together.

I say we pass a law for one standard toy man size!! LOL.

The original Star Wars figures were sort of the first of their size and that became the standard - almost everything else was that size for a long time but then other things started slowly getting bigger. Since the first Indiana Jones toys were this size though I like this a lot, and it's also the same size as all the other current SW figures, so the lines are sort of sister lines to each other, they integrate well. It also integrates into GI Joe

I think people that think the aliens are unrealistic haven't watched the other movies. Arks that melt peoples faces off when they look at it? Holy grails? These movies are all about very mystical things that need suspension of disbelief

I really dig the new Indy toys. They have the whole nostalgic 3 3/4 inch size and they are incorporating all the films in the line, much like Star Wars. I really won't be happy though until I get a Driving Action Short Round complete with blocks on his feet. "Ha ha ha very funny Dr. Jones."

The face can't be any better than that at the size and as a highly mass produced figure.

The size like I said is exactly what it should be - Indiana Jones toys have always been this size. Then, Star Wars figures are this size, and as Lucasfilm properties, the two toy lines should be the same size to in effect become sister toylines.

If the toys were larger people would bitch, trust me.

If you see the movie just keep in mind it has a heavy old school style to it - and the whole point of it is to be in the spirit of old adventure serials, so it's very over the top and such as a style choice
