Thank you. The icing is called SugarVeil, and if you go to the SugarVeil website, there are many more examples (as well as tutorials). SugarVeil sticks to itself or to any surface with a tiny bit of moisture on a fingertip.
did you use water or something else to stick the dots down and to join the seams? or is it sticky enough to just stick together itself. Love your work.
@smash848 The slightest bit of water makes SugarVeil stick to itself, and stick to anything else. It sticks to everything instantly, and only needs the water if the surfaces have dried. Thank you!
That is SO neat, what does it taste like? I would hate for it to look so pretty and not taste good, as I understand is the problem with some fondant cakes. (I know this is not fondant, just giving example).
@dkritter - Thank you, dkritter. SugarVeil Icing has a really pleasant taste - something between a marshmallow and a meringue-like flavor.. It's very mild, so it will go with many icings, and it's not too sweet. If you've a particular flavor or food color you'd like to add to it (powder, liquid, gel, or oil all work fine), you can do that as well.
@libbyft - Libby, the decorations are made from SugarVeil Icing - proportion-wise, add 1/3 cup plus 2 Tbl. boiling water to 1 cup SugarVeil. Thank you!

@FirdaousEjannah78 - Thanks. We used no software to design the cake, just SugarVeil Icing and a few decorative paper punches.
