you have a bunch of fish that seem to get along well......now i have a 55 gallon tank and I only have 10 but i only ever see half of them because the other are hiding in the rocks and if they come out they just get chased! WHY IS THIS HAPPENING!!

well first of all they like to hide in rocks , thats just how malawi cichlids are and they are prob getting chased just for terratory reasons . Are the ones getting chased alot smaller than the other or are they about the same size ?

@maxicoco28 maybe because some of your other fish are bigger than the others or maybe you put them late in the tank than the others the old ones will surely bully them because cichlids are territorial.

@scuddy2323 I have a Power Glo. Shows off their colors nicely. Not too expensive. Not like Halides! Just as good. Helps what little plants I have in there too.

siphone its this hose looking with and it has a hard part on top and u stick it in the gravel (i know it sounds wrong) and it sux up all the dirt through the hose in the bucket
