  • But there 10k

  • are they on sale now?? its very interesting i would love to buy 1

  • there are two versions. the red one costs abut 3000 euros and the blue one, that costs around 14000 euros. The second one has more sensors. I am pretty sure that every one can buy one from aldebaran. It is not a toy though

  • @gigithris No, you can't buy it, not yet. It will be a possibility but at the moment only the education/research option is viable, not for private use. The general public version will be different than the one they have on sale right now, you can check out their site for this info. The education version has 3 options - T2, audio and visual interaction only, T14 - added also prehensile capabilities, N21 and N25 - what you see up there, fully autonomous humanoid robot.

  • @AlatarielNerwen My mistake then.

  • @gigithris No worries, wouldn't it be neat if we could buy it? And for some decent amount of money too? I would love one, think of the learning capabilities.

  • @AlatarielNerwen The fact is that I work on one of those for one year now :)

    Is extremely time consuming though...

  • Hello I am From Peru (and I speak Spanish) This humanoid can be learn spanish? or speak spanish?. I am very interested to buy it!!

  • So lucky you managed to get one of them! They are pretty damn expensive....

  • Dude it's gonna be 2 and a half thousand dollars I might get 1 because that's nothing my moms car was $35,000 Toyota

  • I´ve read here in the internet that this robot will cost something about 12,600 $.

Finally I´m out. I can´t buy me such a robot. Why isn´t it a massproduct payable for everyone?

  • great balance!

  • I think that you will be able to buy it in the end of this year.

  • I do not think that you can buy it in ebay or in amazon because it is still being tested at the Aldebaran.

Now, I work for a French project which Aldebaran is a partner. So that I have one.

  • @quocanh263 Did yah pay for it or was it like a free promo "Hey! Here's our future product, buy our stock!" kind of thing.

Nao bot, although a lil slow with movements, is very impressive. Makes the micro controlled sumo bots I built when I was 12 (2001) and powered with C+ I toiled over for weeks getting just right look flat out like wind-up toys.

I would probably waste my life savings (LOL, I am fairly poor) on something like him. Why? In the name of skyance?! (intentionally misspelled, hah!)

  • i didnt find in ebay or in amazon

  • Did you buy your own? Are they not quite spendy still
