  • does exist any way working like game tester online??

  • Hmmm if only so easy...

  • Is there an age requirement or...?

  • can u become a game tester as a kid i got told u can

  • @Thedeadpoolwarrior If u r already 15 year old u can be a game tester

  • tinyurl * com/72lsw3j

Just try this and see ;)

  • There is a rude awakening for the people wanting and getting a QA Tester job. Welcome to the 7th Circle of Hell. There's so many naive people wanting them, but hey.....it makes the games a lot better for me when I'm playing the end product and HAVING FUN!

  • nice

  • Hello, I H0PE someone helps me! My Dream is to become a Game Designer but not ( Maybe) a Progammer ( Even though you will learn in College). Do I REALLY need to know Alot and Understanding of Math or do I have to understand the Basics and What I Learnd from College to become a GameDesginer, because the course classes I've seen, there are no math classes at all. I've seen different kinds of jobs(Artist,Animator,GameDesigner,Progammer) why is there list? I Thought GameDesigner meant all that? Ty

  • @lorf151

    Hi lorf

To put things simply, imagine you have 2 sorts of companies. Independent and corporate. Independent companies have small numbers, some people even do it on their own so everyone usually has to help out in everything to get the Job done. The latter is a bigger company, where everyone is assigned their each individual jobs. I hope that clears things up. Also, i assume you meant game developer not designer

  • Nice

  • Goku FTW!

  • Thank you sir!

I am going to be contacting all the companies I can.

    I bet competition is fierce!

But I am a strong willed guy.

  • this is GREAT ADVICE, I;m sure my son will Appreciate it.

    thank YOU

  • This tells me nothing

  • Hey i need to get in contact with you i am on my last semester in simulation and game developement and needed a job. I am in school in north carolina but luckily i am from fort lauderdale so my parents still live there. Would love to work for you guys, i am not a programmer more of a designer.

  • does location matter? ive been searching around the web about being a game tester but all i see are U.S. based websites. what if i live in a different country?

  • I see GOKU!!!!

  • sounds like your a game slave ( being whipped and screamed at the deadline is tommorow you teenagers check for any bugs!! or were turning off your PSN forever!!) i rather be a game designer.

  • If I put a list of literally every game I have played...I think I wouldn't be able to list everything...too much lol

  • @guitarherohunter It shows.

  • @Big5000K Now, now, kids. Get along.

  • @guitarherohunter Because you spell and act like a three year old.

  • I didn't have enough space left to say that they also assign your game. If you are stuck with something like Dora the Explorer for Kinect, then it sucks to be you! On the plus side, all of this does sound better than flipping burgers.

  • @TheCorruptPlague That's true but what if you join Rockstar? I'm pretty sure they wont have summing like that in their games!

  • @TheCorruptPlague hahahah i know, but if you get in a game like call of duty, or a game you are fan, fuckyeah!!!!!!!!

  • From the information I have gathered so far, this is not the dream job that most of you kids think it is. Yes, you do get to play the game early, but it's not so you can cruise on through and enjoy yourself. It's to weed out bugs. You can expect to do much of the grunt work and be on the very bottom rung of the industry pyramid. The job also goes for minimum wage and you have to work very long hours, especially when a deadline is approaching.

  • "temp"

  • Terrible job, long hours, minimum wage, game full of bugs and if one is found you are blamed.

  • @Big5000K not a terrible job,200-245 per day,game full of bugs,misspelling,glitches etc. be ready.

  • @Big5000K you are not blammed it is the programmer that is blammed. Long hours yes, great pay it is a 50 billion dollar business. You are not "playing the game" you have supervisors watching you.

  • @bbestboy14 Have you ever tested a game? They blame you. It is mostly a yell at the closest person thing.

  • @Big5000K My chairman program guy said that and was in the industry and that is what he told me. He wanted to teach kids so he opened up simulation and game development program.

  • @bbestboy14 Well I did it for some of the bigger companies, notably microsoft, maybe others are better.

  • @Big5000K I'd rather get yelled at playing video games than getting yelled at at my job now flipping burgers. If you know any contacts would like to get some about to finish the program and am so sick of working in resturaunts

  • @bbestboy14 Sorry mate, it has been a while since I have. Best chances are contacting microsoft them selves.

  • I prefer the GJO Network

    tinyurl[dot]com/653j5ae

  • @dzilla1991 you need software programming experience and such. just "Playing" the games won't do any good

  • is not that easy as you think you have to keep playing the same game over and over again to find glitches and other stuff it's not fun.

  • All that glitters is not gold ....that's all i have to say.

  • Wait, where do I sigen up?

  • playing game everday with salary!!....OKY I TAKE IT :D

  • Im only 14 but is there any tipsanybody can give me so i can be prepared to try to become a game tester

  • Would you have to move close to the studios to do this stuff or what?

  • I am a game tester for an obscure Facebook first person shooter. Its all volunteer work lol.

  • Whats that weird looking thing in the video? And i dont mean the cutouts.

  • Not to mention if the game is rated M you wouldn't be able to test it at 15 either I do not believe. Game testers need to be at least 18 from what I've gathered so far. I'm still digging like a mad man to find out how to finally land a job as a game tester, by the looks of it I'll be doing some boring work until I've saved up enough to pack up and leave to chase a dream.

  • @Westclock86 uhm dude some guy sent me spam message saying to check his site it said you could be 15 years old and earn 20$ hr idk if its true but best hopes is to keep trying k =)

  • @Westclock86 Nah, it's 15+ bro.

  • imma b a game tester cus the job is right down the street from me o yeah ft lauderdale florida!!!!

  • What age do you have to be?

Im 12. Am I old enough?

  • @amazingys they legally cant hire a minor so... no. lol

  • @amazingys not its ilegal for any one under ther age of 15 to work

  • LOL realy DMC 3 the hardest game aver made nice test there

  • does this job have a contract or is it self imployment

  • My friend is a tester. Its a fun laid back job. But the pay sucks and also some times it can be very tiring.

  • @VolcardoReviewer How much does he make, because obviously I'm not interested in making it my full time career but something that will earn me money while I'm going to school.

  • @BattleProf53 Like 10 or 11 dollars an hour i think.

  • I know you have to look for glitches and errors that's what I want to be a game tester for not to play the game.

  • i would love to be a video game tester....it would be the greatest thing ever

  • game testing isnt all fun and games kids. youll be playing repetitive glitchy unfinished games.

  • @PouncingPandea i've been saying the same thing to people who want to be a game tester...your not playing the game....your looking for glitches and errors repetitively....sounds kinda boring

  • What are the temp agencies?

  • @DracoMalfoy87

i just googled it, it's a funded agency (in developed countries) to help employees find employers. they help you find a job =)

  • i have a god given talent to make 3d cgi videos , i just need a job

  • Im a game pro and min Favorite game is Lord Of The Rings

  • How old do you have to be in able to get a job as a video tester?

  • so for testing games is there like an age limit? can lets say a 13 year old get paid for this? and were could i submit a resume for this

  • @calladus123 No its 16.

  • @TheRazorWolf *darth vader voice* nooooooooooooo

  • @calladus123 well youll need to learn how to spell.

  • how old do you have to be?

  • BLIZZARD VIDEO GAME TESTER FOR THE WIN!!!!!!!!

  • @M3dic1 blizzard is actually hiring game testers right now. Check out the blizzard site.

  • I thought black box testing was playability testing, white box testing is the programming part.

  • Sub to me if you want to see a regular person playing above average games of halo 3 and Halo Reach!

  • @ThePokeMasterSilver looks like super saiyan 2

  • you have to have every new system? !! lame...

  • Okay, i live in England, i have just recently left high school and i am 16 years old, and i am real big gaming fan, especially of games like Call Of Duty or the Fallout series, and i am looking to become a games tester. I would really appreciate if you can send me any information on how to become one. Thanks :)

  • @gamesman332 Im 16 and iv left school and im at college i also live in england but the thing is you have to be in to all games to be a game testers, becuase you will have to be testing all the different game types like rpg, fps, sports etc..... and being a game tester dont mean all u do is test them it means you have to do full reports about bugs, glitchs and other kind of things ...

  • @HardHitman247, Ahaaa okayy. Yeah i know you have to review the game and bugs etc, and i am a big fan of gaming, and I will play anythingg xD. All i want is just some information on how to get the job etc :)

  • Can sum1 tell me all the real sites where and what requirementnts

  • the only way you're gonna get a job tester is by recommendation or knowing someone thats how i got my job as a game tester. you just need to be lucky.

  • @renex619x or really good

  • niceeeeeee

  • Do u get paid?

  • Alright but how old do u have to be do I've been aressted is that alright

  • @manxdaxdeck sure does =)

  • @killurmom1 if u hear of any jobs for young game testers plz tell me I'm nearly 14 I'd like it if u could send me a message plz after all kids do make better game testers lol

  • @darkiferno360 Finally someone who understands how my job works. People say stuff like, your job is fun, easy and exciting. You have the reality of it and as soon as everyone else gets it the better. But the job does come with the upside to though like playing games that hasn't haven't hit the shelves yet, but i'm glad someone else out there knows what we have to go thorough.

  • Who would i talk to or what website would i go to in order to test games for call of duty???

  • @dereckjw wow, talk about living in an illusion. What makes you think they'l let a novice test a high selling very high risk gme like Call of Duty? what are you 12 years old?

  • @badkiller2 because one thing i know more a about games because i played games my whole life. no i'm 19. and you think you know more about games then i do how many games have you made? what makes you think they wont want a few more game testers.

  • @dereckjw Being hardcore gamer has nothing to do with being a game tester... Game testing isn't about gaming knowledge, it's about knowing how to find glitches and problems in a game. Were you ever trained for this? Being a good gamer has absolutely nothing to do with it. Do you even have any idea of what a game tester is?! If anything, they will let you first test some low-score games. Activision won't take their bets on a novice like you.

  • I know it was just said how you can become a video game tester but im not totally clear on it if anyone can elaborate for me please...i live in south florida coral springs area to be more precise im 20 and i would love a chance to join the video game industry wether video game tester or anything so at the very least i have one foot through the door and i can go on from there i know i could make it if given the chance,,,can anyone please help??? thank you

  • 'm in the middle of my animation program at M.A.T.C., and character modeling is fun and all, but game tester seems to be more of a fun easy job. Although I would like to put my characters I draw into video games one day. But after watching "Grandma's Boy" I really became attached to game tester. It made me think about transferring to over to the Gaming and Simulation program.

  • plz get back to me on my message plz i think 14 year olds would make the best game testers anyway lol

  • @DEATHGHOST1996 you have to be at least 18 sorry xD

  • well i will be honest theres only 2 things i want to become is a actor or a game tester i live in in england i would love to be game tester because i dont go to school that much i game i have played ps1 ps2 ps3 xbox xbox360 psp ds wii i have all them consols part from ds and psp wich i sold and i would rather become actor but finding acting school in england birmingham is hard and telling parents

  • BTW i think you must be at least 18 years old to become a vg tester. Cuz of laws and all that shit. I'm not sure, just assuming.

  • I have played every game For the Xbox and playstion and some wii games that have came out since their release. Gaming is one of my favorite things to do i have got my first N64 when i was 3 I was instantly hooked :p

  • i have a Bachelor in programming and game design but are you serious.....every game ive ever played to be a tester...thats silly, i wish i could just say "dude, ive played alot." cause I think I could fill a few pages of games ive played, there is an insane number that I have been through.

  • wanna be a game designer... but not sure what college to go to any suggestions? i live in the US.... PS whats a black box? lol

  • u should go to the art institute. I kno thats where imma go

  • @CryWolf915

I'm guessing since command prompt on windows is used for coding maybe they use that for games too?

  • What is a Black Box Tester?

Is it a tester that you work for the Video Game Develpoper? like Epic, Lucas Arts and so on.

Not for a 3rd party temp. job.

  • I meet all these qualifications. Played on different platforms, etc. Age 18, nothing else to really do besides finish my last semester of High School, so bring on the games!

  • hey people if any of you can answer im 15 can i be a gametester?? ps im a freshman in highschool

  • @24145naruto you might need to wait until your 18

  • Not for a while, you will need college courses such as C++. But you can get college credits in High School if your lucky enough to have a school that provides that. Ask one of your teachers associated with computers to understand the full process in which it will take you to succeed in the field of game designing/testing.

  • EVERY GAME??? my god...

  • people shoot at other people for hours on end anyway. if you don't think it would be fun or just plain easy, you're not a gamer you're a lazy know it all. plus you're getting PAID! now if thats not enough you get games for free. if you don't think that would be just awsome then maybe you should go hump a tree stump.

  • Yes but a video game tester involves doing menial and repetitive tasks to see if any slight variation causes a bug to occur, like jumping on a crate, see if you pass through it, etc, boring tasks.

  • u mean game QA they focus on bugs and glitches game testers focus on if the game is playable

  • @SgtMustang Who cares if it's repetitive? I'm playing videogames and getting paid for it, plus I'm playing the games it will take months for others to see!

I say its a win-win situation, no matter how mundane or boring it may be.

  • lol that is so true

  • people ASSUME being a gametester is fun, WOOH play games all day, HELL NO, its repetitive and boring after the first months, when they come to you and say, hey, shoot that guy 1000 times and tell me if it crashes the game u gotta do it, try to glitch out of the level, test the character movement by jumping on every object in the game, an eye to notice ANY and ALL details that the developers dont want, even if its A bullethole that doesnt appear, its HARD work so noone should think its "just fun"

  • @darkInferno360 thats if yiu are a game QA and there's a difference between game testers and Game QAs

Game QAs find bugs and stuff wile Game testers analyzes the playability so ther is a difference :D

  • @linander94 Does a QA (Quality Assurance??) need to have programming skillz?

  • @darkInferno360 Very well put. I really would love to become a videogame tester myself. I know that it will not be all just fun in it, but c'mon...Even if you have to do repetitve stuff, it is still fun to work playing videogames. I have been gaming all my life, ever since I was like 3 years old and got my SNES with the Super Mario World game with it. I'd love to become a VG tester and then broaden up to different areas of the gaming industry. A career in videogames, if you will.

  • @darkInferno360 Which website do u apply for gametester

  • @HoaLuu619 you can look at game websites for new and upcomming games, they often need testers, APB a new open world game for example is searching for testers also, best to browse around

  • @darkInferno360 its beter than most jobs out there

  • @darkInferno360 w/e I need a job.
