  • I think slamming a plastic surgeon is unfair, Ms. Emmaberky. I'm sorry you had bad results. Hopefully you were warned of the risks and gave INFORMED CONSENT. I've had great results from Juvederm and Radiesse. Research your potential surgeon and make sure the treatment is going to meet your unique needs. Otherwise, do as you would be done by.

  • if i get juvederm to my under eye area and then later decide to use may own fat can i do that or no?

  • Don't listen to any of these negative comments about Juvederm. I had it done and WILL have it done AGAIN. Love it. No bad reactions whatsoever. Juvederm is VERY SAFE and these scare stories are more than likely by people who have a negative respond to everything in their lives. Juvederm works and makes you look wonderful.

  • I had my hollows done today, but not with this product. I should have done this a long time ago. I have a little bit of swelling, but you can see a big difference. I would do it again! I didn't feel pain and the needle is not that thick, so yeah, I would do it again.

  • Everyone needs to remember that unlike Radiesse or Artefill there is an Antidote for Juvederm. So even if its placed wrong and you absolutely hate it, it can very easily be dissolved (with Hyaluronidase).

  • Dr Ahn is a wonderfull Dr. and a wonderful person. He has performed this technique on me, my sister, my mom and my aunt. This is absolutely THE BEST thing I could have done! This has literally taken 10 t0 15 years off of my face . There is no pain. I highly recomend Dr Ahn . SO miss Emmaberky, I would suggest you dig just a little deeper before you make STUPID uninformed remarks!

  • needles make me sick! I've seen the commercials on tv for this product! but I could never use these products because you would have to put me asleep because I panic when needles get brought out. I'm 22 if I start using those collagen creams now will Inot have those lines under the eyes or mouth, because I'm already getting them

  • I just had my eyes done today for the first time with juvederm and yes the needle does hurt but i have always been a big baby. But it was nothing i couldn't handle. What concerns me is the small bumps that are still under my eyes from the procedure caused by the needle and the solution. Although it's only been an hour since i got it done, i'm really kinda concerned Cause one of the little bumps under my right eye is a little black and blue. As long as the bumps go away, i'll be happy. I Think?

  • I am 19 and I was born with hollow upper eyelids and I want the single lidded look (no crease on top of the eye, or a very little one) and if I get Juvederm injected in my upper eyelid I was told it will be permanent since there is not a lot of movement in this area? Is this true? I don't want people to know I have my face down where my face is constantly deflating. Thank you.

  • Great job on her tear troughs. I've had Juvederm placed near my lateral orbitals and I like it. And Emmaberky, I've had Sculptra and I think it's fantastic...this isn't all for the sake of making money, it actually works. Nodulation formation can come as a side effect of poor aftercare. And it lasts a long time, I love mine!

  • You are a criminal for applying these fillings. Theze fillings are longlasting, they will disfigure your face as they did mine. All for the sake of your money! Shame on you.

  • Juvederm dissolves on its own in 1 year. More importantly, it can be removed with a dissolving medication within a couple days.

  • Can this be put into the forehead and the top of yout nose as my wife had this done there and has had very bad results ie:burning behind the eyes and forehead all day every day for 4 months as well as other syptoms.. Thanks

  • Did you know sculptra is very dangereous because in 1 out of every 3 women it leaves large bulps in your face? they become hard as rocks. Sometimes they have to be removed surgically. I have three large onces in my cheeks.

The doctors of course do not report this. Go and look on the internet and be warned!

  • Sculptra is not Juvederm. Sculptra is not used for tear troughs.

  • skin under the eyes can heal itself. If you are too skinny or have lost a lot of weight, putting on weight can fill up the skin under the eyes. Before resulting to these procedures a lot of people have to use common sense. Nothin can be fixed with a simple needle or pill. However if it is a serious problem its better to get surgery than this. Get fat recompositioning in the eys and it will be permenant, unlike this stuff which will only ruin your eyes in the future.

  • I would be afraid my sunken in dark circles would turn into dark undereye bags.

  • @as8566 From what I've heard the dark circles can be the underlying muscle showing through thin skin.So filling in the area under the eyes may actually conceal the dark circles.

  • i just had juvederm few hrs ago.. love the results.. very little brusing. what i wasnt expecting was how painful it would be. A nightmare but the results are worth it.

  • i want some injected under my eyes so they look a little fuller. what's the best one to go for? i had botox done over a year ago and the women that did it put it in the wrong place and one i dropped and the other raised to high and that one still hasn't come down I thought botox as temp. i have 2 uneven eyebrows

  • juvederm can be used to create volume and is also natural looking. i had 1 suringe for both eye, the doctor suggested one more suringe but i wanted a natural look. Find someone that has been trained and does this often. i go to a medical spa to get mine done.

  • I'm thinking about getting this done too, but have heard of some horror stories of the filler getting lumpy over time and causing really big whiteheads. You roll the dice when you get these treatments. I had Botox done under my eyes to minimize wrinkles and ended up with sunken tear troughs like in this video, as a result. My lower eyelid muscles used to blend with my cheek muscles, but after the Botox, sunk down lower than the cheek muscle, making me look 5 years older. Buyer beware.

  • tried this and past out cold!!! seriously was looking forward to it ..damn past out..now my doctor said he won't do this for me...=(

  • It's not unheard of to pass out, as long as you are lying down it's actually not dangerous. You'll come round again. This is assuming you have no diagnosed heart conditions. This is the only time passing out may be a contraindication.

  • I want to get my laugh lines filled in to. I wish someone would do this procedure on me for free! They could do a commercial, a before and after and use me as advertising. I'm decent looking and the results, since I'm young still, should be pretty good. I wonder if someone would do that?

  • I'm in my 30's and I've had a "tired" look to my under eyes since my mid 20's and I HATE it! I've had two consultations, one place told me to get fillers and another suggested surgery. I like the surgery because of the long term effect. I wonder how much injections would cost, especially since they last about a year, and if they'd be as good as surgery or close to it. I definitely want to get rid of the tired look! it sucks

  • no no do NOT get surgery as a first resort. it messes up the planes of th eye. Juvederm lasts about 1.5 to 2 years under the eyes. I have heard this from users many times. It lasts less time in areas of much movement, such as lips and nl folds.

  • you should include before and afters
