ever figure out what went wrong? this is how my car sounds right now, w.o the whole electrical noise thingy.

the same noice was coming from my prelude and the rotor was worn out then it wore out the distributor itself so i replaced the whole thing

open the distributor cap and see if the rotor brush is on there.. the ticking sound is maybe your lifters need adjusting.....

@pleaseUright god why do people keep saying that about ohc engines they dont have lifters
