  • I just got an 08 ex-l coupe. Do you find the automatic shifts are awkward and it's tough to maintain speed over 60? I think it's that eco thing. I feel like I can't keep it at a constant speed, it wants to drift around, but generally, it gradually goes slower. Anyone else have this?

  • I bought an 08 v6 coupe and I find it's kind of slow. It's the auto and I went from a stick v6 Altima. Maybe it's just that the Altima was so fast. Anyone else find it slow?

  • Good engineering is hard to market but good products sell themselves. If you look on any North American roads almost, its quite impossible to not see an Accord lurking somewhere no matter what class of neighborhood your at. That says something.

  • i have a prizm lol maybe my next car will be an accord lol, nice car

  • @Baconater717 Thanks for the compliment Baconater717. I just returned from Orlando where I rented a Toyota Corolla (same as Prizm). It brought back many uncomfortable memories...

  • why is the accord in uk different and much much nicer

  • You bought yourself a beautiful vehicle for it being your first, very smart choice hehe

  • I have the same thing and the jolt as well. I think it has something to do with Front Wheel Drive.

  • As always Honda makes very good quality and very sophisticated cars, but they messed up with the design of the exterior and interior.

  • this car or the the 2009 tsx

  • @LethalTech01 That's a tough call but I'll have to say the 2009 Accord V6 with a self installed parking camera. My finance has the 2009 Acura TSX with technology package (parking camera and GPS). Her 4 cylinder TSX cost over $30,000. I read that the 2010 Acura TSX has 6 cylinders. If you can afford that, go for the 6 cylinder Acura TSX.

  • @MeatwadSpeaks I love Hondas/Acuras but when you're looking at the V6 TSX, you are getting into proper BMW 3 Series/Infiniti G37 range.

  • showoff

  • 24,000 DOLLARS THATS GOOD! omg for a v6 with leather seating thats really good

  • @mjeatsies Thank you!

  • great video god bless you-

  • I have a 2005 Accord EX-L. Same thing as an Acura TSX in my opinion because you have the luxury trim.

  • junk

  • nice ride i have an 09 exl with nav, purchase new trade in the 07 v6/ the one you an i have should be 271 hp , unless you have upgrade the intake with a k/n filter will put you at about 280 hp. thats what im putting in mines next,

  • 2010 Accord trunk = 14.0 cu. ft, 2010 Camry trunk = 14.5 cu. ft.

My dad bought a 2009 Camry SE V6 the day I bought my Accord EX V6. The Camry's interior is what turned me off even though I liked the Camry's exterior a little more.

  • THANK YOU so much for the information :)

  • Hello I have a question. You said it was $24,000.00 right that's AFTER CASH for CLUNKERS trade-in right. What if you DON'T do THE CASH for CLUNKERS thing do you how much would it be?? THANK YOU So much I would really appreciate your help. I was trying to buy my 1st car and I'm not sure if I want the CIVIC or ACCORD or TOYOTA RAV4.. Thanks :)

  • Hi rayluvrei. The negotiated price was $25,000 before taxes, documentation fee, and registration fee. The tax in my state is 7%. The documentation fee was almost $700, and this was not negotiable. The registration fee was $100 or so. You can register your car at the DMV yourself for $50 but I choose to have the dealership do it for me.

So without Cash for Clunkers, I would have had to pay $27,500.

  • @MeatwadSpeaks wow..??! is it in US Dollar...? overall u paid $27,500 only..? and it is 3.5L V6 right...?

    in my country the lowest spec which i bought - 2.0L i-vtec = $46,580

    while for 3.5L V6 = $115,000++

and of course excluding bank interest...

  • @Urzu3 Hi Urzu3. Yup, it's 3.5L V6. I lucked out because the salesman didn't think I'm not the patient type so he just gave a low ball price. He was right. I didn't intend on buying a Honda that day. But with such a good price, I couldn't say no. Thank you for the compliment.

  • @Urzu3 since 2009....this same Accord costs about $36,000 with the same options TODAY...car's have greatly rose with our recession...NOTHING is cheap...KIA probably has the best car packages available. ( Price, features, warrently, etc... )

  • @offroadfury6 btw, its still $10,000 lower than the car being sold here in Malaysia.. yeah, i agreed about Hyundai+Kia car.. they update the packages thought time. Government policy on imported car taxes in malaysia WAY TOO HIGH..

  • @offroadfury6 I noticed cars have gone up over the years more than anything else. I think it's the fact that their advertising costs are through the roof. I remember when a new Mustang GT 5.0 was around $12,000 in 1988. Now they go for like $40,000. Used cars like Maxima and Accord went up about 5k from five years ago. The prices are so close to new, that it's better to buy new in a lot of cases. You don't see that 50% depreciation you did years ago.

  • "horsepower 280+" ?? let me correct you sir it's actually 271.....

  • You are correct! I didn't read the specs until I compared it with a 2004 Honda Accord V6.

  • @hadabenz The horsepower in that Accord V6 is probably 280, since Honda has a tendency to underate their engines.

Interestingly...the Base Acura TL engine is 280hp

  • how much was it?

  • The total was $24,000. That's after Cash for Clunkers trade-in, Honda's promotional $1500 rebate, taxes, and fees.

  • Nice car! Good good purchase

  • hope they fixed the tranny issues from 08 to the 09 model.

  • im so in love with this car.....i want the coupe version in manual.

  • nice car my man
