  • Yup it sure did help thanks a lot man =D

  • @AstonDBS18 No problem, happy to help!

  • noise is fixed it was the tranny mount making all the problems yesss =]

  • @AstonDBS18 Awesome! Hope my information helped contribute :)

  • @AstonDBS18 the sound was hard to hear in this video...it was always near redline and sounds like a mix between a low growl and sort of like an impact wrench. It was definitely the mount because it was shattered in half when I took it off. lol

  • @TXs14 LOL oh man yeh this noise is driving me crazzy it sounds from the inside of the car cuz from the outside yu cant hear it =/ it shakes a lot while im idle but the car is in Drive mode.. i ordered the mount for the tranny it that doesnt solve the growling noise then im fucked LOL

  • @AstonDBS18 have you checked your current mount? or your motor mounts?

  • @TXs14 mechanic said mount from the right passenger side is loose the rest were good an tranny mount was bad like real bad but there expensive ass hell like $150 each.. hope i solve my problem..

  • @AstonDBS18 if the right mount is lose, get in there and tighten it down, 14mm wrench or socket. As for the trans mount...go with Nismo hardened one...it's $50.

  • does the transmission mount sound on 0.37 seconds? like a growling noise?

  • So did you ever find out exactly what it was?Motor mounts,or trans mounts?

  • @Elderyoungone trans mount 100%...swapped in a Nismo one and everything was fixed

  • You sure its the motor mounts? Could it maybe be a balance issue? Does it get worse at higher vehicle speed or at engine speed? If its engine speed is it like this in every gear or just the top of first?

The reason i ask this is to be thourough and make sure i give you an intelligent answer. You are right though, typically mounts would show up as you get on the throttle, or as you shift from P to R/D or as you rapidly get off the throttle from heavy acceleration.

  • The noise is from engine speed, but the engine doesn't move much at all when free revved so we think its the transmission mounts. The noise is in every gear and it actually makes the noise a little bit down low and when I take it from park to D. But I haven't noticed it in reverse... yet.

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it
